I went to search to help me find a job as I needed some extra support when finding one. For the first 2 weeks it was looking positive and likely they would help me find a job however this changed. I went on some temporary work where it completely knocked my confidence as the company who I worked for never even knew I was coming. I reported this back to search where I never heard back to why this had happened. I was told I would be giving an interview for some jobs but then never got anything back for times and days, to where I had to chase them up by emailing and phoned and left voicemails having to ask what was happening with the interviews. They said they would come back to me with details which failed to happen. I’m an 18 year old, who’s unemployed as I’ve just came back from travelling, so in desperate need of starting work and wanting to start a career, which I thought search would be a perfect company in supporting me to find a job and guide me in the right direction but sadly this never happened. I had hope in search to help me, as this never happened it has knocked me back a few weeks when trying to find a job as I had relied on them helping me which they strongly said they would be. Luckily I have a lot of family support helping me in my search of jobs, but anyone who doesn’t have this is I’d recommend to go with a different company.

Worked at persimmon job in Dundee east kingsway normal £22phr as a Telehandler operator on all sites.
Make sure with all agencies you have text confirmation of rates & hours before you start. Also a blank timesheet to confirm all the hrs you worked.
Anywhere any time jobs, except Robertson group/ homes as they charge £140 rip off fee for in-house critical safety worker certificate, Morgan sindall do a in house test free miller homes do a free drug & alcohol test on every site. Robertson group offering the same jobs with multiple agency workers as they can’t find workers to pay £140 fees. Turning down 2 or 3 jobs a week for Robertson homes.

Paid in advance for two temporary members of staff (General Labpurers) for a two week period due to an increase in work load, a total of 78 hours.
First week we had one lad turn up for 7.5 hours, 2nd week we had two lads turn up on the Monday, back to one lad the rest of the week. Into
the third week and we’ve had no one again this week.
No sense of urgency in the fact we have a program of work to complete and have paid them upfront to provide labourers. A total waste of time and money!

Search are entirely incapable of doing their job properly. Yet again, I have not been paid on time or for holiday hours. They don't answer emails and ignore any grievences you have. Definitely steer clear of this agency
