My advice is to stay away!
I have had a sebo K1 since august, it never wowed me as the suction wasn’t great and the roller head gets really badly clogged with hair.
I emailed asking for advise and after them listening to the Hoover running over the phone was told that it sounded like it was staining.
I was also told I should have bought a ‘premium’ model if I wanted a deeper clean. Even though the description on the K1 was that it is great on both hard floors and carpet. I was advised by customer services (who contracted everything I said, was patronising and I felt like they were not listening to me) that I should have bought a different machine.
The hoover then stopped working all together and told me I needed to send it back to them to fix. If it was a manufacturing fault it would be fixed and returned to me and if it was my fault then I’d need to pay for the repair.
I haven’t damaged the hoover in the slightest so I feel they should replace it, all I’m being offered is for me to return the hoover to them which will take up to 10 days to repair (so I’ll be without a hoover and I have an asthmatic son) but this may or may not cost me. I feel like they are just going to say I have accidentally damaged it so they have me well and truly over a barrel.
I’m not taking advice as to how I move forward with this because I’ve never experienced customer service quite as bad as this.
I was recommended to Sebo and feel really sad that they have let me down!
It’s now looking like I need to go spend about £300 plus on a hoover this weekend and it most definitely will not be Sebo!
My advice is stay away so you do t end up stuck with a faulty machine like I have!

35 years of loyal purchasing from myself, the women in customer services were very unhelpful, and I was not offered my loyalty discount until I had sent my Sebo back ( 3 times ) due to the wrong colour combination being sent, they even charged me the shipping. After escalating my complaint after 4 attempt to get the correct colour comb a representative of Sebo hand delivered my vacuum ( he was very nice) only to find when unboxed it was missing a part) so they had to sort that one out. When your spending over £300 on a vacuum you expect customer services to get it right, not charge me for the return freight and then offer me free vacuum bags in return, which I will never use as Ive bought a Sharp vacume, the new Sebo cable was less flexible so impossible to wind neatly after use and I’m fed up with the Sebo constantly tipping over and chipping my skirting or furniture, it’s unbalanced and I now have discovered that there is a great range of compatible and friendlier and willing to help vacuum company's to deal with.it was the lady in customer services who drove me on to write the review, because her customer service was so unpleasant it really made me feel like loyalty means nothing, so Good bye Sebo, roll on Shark!

Dependable, reliable service, for years and years
What I love about Sebo machines, is that in a world of built in obsolescence, Sebo continue to build machines that provide reliability and performance over many years. And come the time when they do require a bit of TLC, the UK service centre in High Wycombe are on hand to provide knowledgeable and efficient support.
Dropped in yesterday to collect some consumabables and was served by Robenah. As well as collecting the items I needed, mentioned a few odd noises. Even from my rather vague description, she immediately identified the issue, and provided what I needed - a small seal which cost 3 pounds and was easily fitted by myself in under 5 minutes.
Fantastic service with a friendly smile …..

Our SEBO X1 vacuum cleaner, which dates from 1994 developed an intermittent motor / drive fault. Last week I called SEBO (there is no infuriating multi-choice switchboard!) and was advised I could bring the machine into SEBO at High Wycombe. Today I presented the machine to the helpful SEBO staff and within 90 minutes the machine was returned to us, fully repaired and serviced for the next 30 years. There is even a hand written note from "The Engineer" which provides bespoke service information. Our robust machine looks as good as the day it was purchased in John Lewis. A cost-effective and eco-friendly repair. This service, I am told is also available by parcel post. Barrie Fairbairn. Leicester.

Brilliant support + products!
I raised a ticket on Sunday night at about 7:30 pm, and got a phone call at 9:10 on Monday morning. This call then provided me with a potential fix for my issue, and a quote for the part I need!
They key bit here is my vacuum is 3 years outside of warranty, so 8 years old and they still support it! This is how support is meant to be done. Product wise they are fantastic, built to be repaired. Mines survived 8 years with 3 kids, 2 cats and a dog!

From the first enquiry to final delivery arrangement, the contact experience was helpful and friendly.
Vaccuum cleaner doorstep collection was organised quickly, and within a week my tatty (my bad!) upright was returned looking brand new and working perfectly.

I recently had to send in my vacuum cleaner as there was an intermittent fault. The lady on customer services was so friendly and accomdating and it is a shame I don't know her name to put on here.

Sebo Customer Service
After 23 years our original X1 hoover stopped. The motor had gone and it isn’t made anymore. We had wonderful customer service over the phone and in person with Emmanuel who was so patient, knowledgeable and with a smile on his face. He brought us various models to try and we have happily purchased an X7 and we have no doubt it will serve us well for the future but are confident Sebo staff will deal with any problems if we have them. Absolutely fabulous service from SEBO High Wycombe not only did they explain what they thought the issue was they said I would be able to fix it myself rather than having to pay for an engineer to fix it. They told me the part required and that it was in stock and as I was local it would be available in 10 minutes which would save on postage. They were so professional and courteous.They even showed me how to replace the part on one of their own machines. 👍👏🏻👏🏻

Sebo a great product with great after sales service
I have now had a sebo X1 upright Hoover for over 20 yrs and it is still as great at cleaning my carpets as it was when I bought it .. however I recently had to take it to the Sebo service Centre at High Wycombe as the roller brush suddenly stopped working and it wouldn’t pick up at all .. .. expecting the worse and thinking I would have to buy a new vacuum .. I asked the lady if they could look at it or at least tell me if they thought it sounded like it was truly broken .The lady said they usually took a few days to repair but she would take it through to the engineer and just let him listen to it to give me an idea if it sounded repairable!! .. she came back with it in 10 mins with a bill just for a new belt & said it was in great condition & working fine now !! .. I can’t thank them enough .. I would definitely buy Sebo again.. the quality of the product and the customer service is amazing ..

Recommend sebo felix
I very had vax, and other good makes but I purchased a sebo felix years ago and I won't use any other brand of hoover. My Felix drives so no pushing yes its heavy but it cleans deep into pile I purchased further attachments a polisher for marble tile floors. It cylinder detaches to make it light for stairs. I believe once you owned one of these you never look back you can buy individual parts including changing cylinder bag to make it look new again . It isn't bagless but they last a long time.
