I find it really strange that i exchange messages with an anthony sharp and then the name suddenly changes to Anthony stein. Shady. Do not take any loans from there.

This company is a predatory and unlicensed in all provinces in Canada.Just to respond to some of those views, most of these companies such as SecureFinances,EXPRESS PAYDAYLOAN are unlicensed and unregistered payday loan companies. I mean you know its 14 or 15% percent depening on which province you live. These online companies providing loans based on your weekly or biweekly pay, go beyond any provincial and federal legislation charging you a high fee and interest for borrowering because they are unlicensed and according to provincial/federal legislation laws their practice is ILLEGAL! if you look at your contract you should see a loan for 300 you pay back 300 which is the amount you borrowed and then another 200 for surety fees. You pay the loan for 3 months. The bigger the loan the higher the fee. If you borrow 1000 you will pay back close to 2000 over 3 months. Even if they stated they are not a pay day loan company,they are providing loans with illegal high rates. I cant stress it enough! Thats illegal and is considered prentatory lending and you dont have to pay those fees except for the amount you borrowed. SecureFinances will make derogatory complaints and harass everyone you listed as reference. . Its a predatory company operating illegally without a license or registration! They are located in Quebec and one of their number listing is 1-438-258-9362 and like any company the address can be found. If the loans are causing hardship, legally the contract can be avoided and maybe you won't have to pay even the principle balance. Especially if you have multiple loans at one time, the company giving you the loan ignored the debt to income ratio or your ability to pay back at the time are technically can be responsible for the hardship. If you contact Your provincial government or any credit counsellor they would tell you that. Look online it clearly states that as well. Your not indebted to pay the high fees that may be listed as administrative/surety/file analysis but only the amount borrowed. Secure Finances are aware and yes they probably will call and call and email and probably make berating/defamatory comments. But did you know legally they are not allowed to do that.. So keep all emails and record all calls. Report them to RCMP if it persists and they can deal with that as well. Dont forget you can get free legal advise.We all need to put an end to this. I am experiencing unauthorized withdrawals from my account. I never gave permission for this to happen. When I first applied, I provided a different bank account for the withdrawals. After closing that account and opening a new one, I updated them with my new banking information. However, they did not withdraw payments from the account I authorized! This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional. It feels like a scam!

Terrible company that isn't licensed to loan in Bc and isn't even allowed to technically charge interest. Go elsewhere this company is illegal. Get at me on reddit to shut these clowns down

I have dealt with Tom now on many many occasions and he has been great with me every time get my loan every time with no Hassel ,he is always very respectful and curious I will continue to deal With Tom

Tom sharp scammed me! Told me to pay iff my loan in order to get a renewal so I did so and havent heard from him in two days. I have the proof and will be getting this company shut down

Tom Sharp is a useless excuse for a human being calling the customers useless because of health issues fell behind on payments and had to go through a proposal he ignored the trustees legal email not to contact me . he likes to email and think that hes being a threat. this company needs to be shut down

Tom is amazing. I didn't pay my first loan for months, blocked their calls, finally spoke with Tom, made an arrangement and got him paid. He gave me another loan. All loan companies want you to do is pay it back. If they call you it's because you are doing something wrong. Borrow money pay it back.

I was trying to be a first time customer, the way the( wouldn't even call him a gentleman) guy answered the phone, it through me off. It was very unprofessional. The way he answered made me belive it was a scam. Nothing like any professional company would do when answering the phone. So when I questioned him he didn't really know what to say, got defensive and hung up.

People, there are much more professional companies to take your business to in a time of need. DO NOT waste your time here. They don't deserve the business

Only gave it a one because it required a star, Tom Sharp is rude and calls his customers useless. I fell behind a few payments because I have been extremely ill. He decided a good way to try to get a payment was calling me useless. They’re rude and send multiple emails a day even when you answer them, they have been nothing but rude and unhelpful. If anyone is useless it’s this company that has 0 understanding. Dont waste your time with this place

This company has been so understanding and helpful with my finacial struggles. They're very very easy to work with and has helped me not collect more nsf fees on my account so it won't hurt my credit. Tom Sharp is 10/10 absolutely wonderful.

Secure is one of the best short term finance companies I have had to deal with. They are extremely helpful and understanding when you have issues. Highly Recommended!!
