UK resident selling Australian shares
As a UK resident, the process of trying to sell Australian shares was proving really difficult - until I came across Sell My Shares. Whilst I had to employ the services of a Notary Public to certify identity documents, once this was done and submitted, the process was extremely quick and efficient.

Trying to sell shares under the trade value of $500 has been extremely difficult with emails back and forth with Sellmyshares who were trying to work within the strict government guidelines (exasperating for me). The CEO of this company stepped in to personally help me and resolved the problems which enabled the sale. I am so pleased with his help.

Easy to sell but beware of the cost
It was very easy to sell my shares. It did cost more than I was expecting though. I obviously misread the charges, thinking it was 1% / 1.5% or capped at $100 / $150. Turns out the $100 / $150 is the minimum charge, not maximum.

It was just so easy
It was just so easy. I'm retired and had some employee shares that I wanted to cash in, and the process was straightforward and hassle-free. Did it all online. Received an estimate of what I would receive, knew how much the fees would be and had my funds within 2 days.
