I bought a Semilac nail drill with a dust collector hoping for a good, professional-quality device, but unfortunately I’m very disappointed.

First of all, the dust collector does not do its job properly. Even though I was replacing the filter very often, it still didn’t collect the dust effectively. A lot of dust was left in the air during use, which is a big downside for this type of equipment.

After about a year and a half of use, the device completely stopped working. Before that, it started to overheat significantly, which was already a warning sign. Unfortunately, the warranty only covers 12 months, so after 18 months I was left with a broken machine and no support — just bad luck.

Additionally, the drill bits are poor quality. After just a few months, they became dull and stopped cutting cuticles properly, which made the work much more difficult.

In my opinion, for this price you can easily find much better equipment with similar power that is more durable and effective.

This was my last purchase from Semilac — I’ve decided to part ways with the brand for good. I should also mention that their gels are not the best quality either — the brush is thick and often difficult to work with.
Overall, I do not recommend it.

Semilac nail polish is absolutely fantastic. The quality is consistently impressive — the colours are rich, vibrant, and long‑lasting, with a really smooth, professional finish. There’s also a great variety to choose from, which makes it easy to find something for every mood and occasion.

The results are excellent!!! I can achieve salon quality nails from the comfort of my own home. I've started doing manicures for my family & friends too!

The website is easy to navigate and ordering process is very easy.

The site offers a lovely large range of everything you could possibly need whether you are doing your own nails or running a business.

They often have excellent offers and discounts running. All the products are of a excellent high salon standard without costing the earth.

I love that their website offers helpful tips and gives you can access how to use your products.

Lisa from customer services is sooo lovely! She goes above & beyond to help me with any queries, and always adds complementary colour swatches in my order to match my new polishes.

It's so lovely that they add the extra personal touch to their emails and always send helpful links to tutorials on different nail techniques.

I follow the company on tiktok, Instagram & Pinterest for inspiration and to be included in the large community of their followers ✨️

I wouldn't want to purchase my products from anywhere else!

I use this gel polish range for 9 years now, always fast delivery, great products, never disappoint.

Got the one step hybrid and I can strongly say it’s definitely not one step. Just doesn’t cure, I gave it many, many chances and tried it with different lamps and all I got on my nails is a sticky mess. If I put top coat on it, it survives maybe 5 days and then separates from the nail, sometimes comes off whole. Just save your money and don’t buy it.
