When my mother in law passed away at 104 years, my wife decided to move some family items from California to Colorado including framed pictures, china, silverware and her fathers wooden desk. I called Bekins who I have used in the past. The representative told me the shipment was to small for the big carriers and highly recommended I call Ship Smart and provided me with the phone number. The process was extremely professional from start to delivery today. I will recommend Ship Smart to anyone looking for a small load to an entire home for packing and transportation. I am not accustomed to receiving such great service and Ship Smart has given me hope that there are still some good companies to work with in the US. Thanks Richard and Rosa for your help.

ShipSmart was actually recommended to me by one of the large movers as my shipment was relatively small & I wasn’t in a hurry to receive it. The movers who packed me up, including my grandfather clock, were on time, efficient and kept me informed. Illinois to Florida is a long move & I was concerned about my clock & belongings. When my items arrived I was pleased to see that my clock was beautifully boxed up & arrived in perfect condition. While I did have a small glitch in my delivery, it was easily resolved the same day. Thank you T.C. for your prompt response to my question. ShipSmart kept me informed on both ends and I would recommend them for your shipping needs.

We were referred to ShipSmart to ship two pieces of antique furniture from PA to CA. The time between pick up and delivery of the furniture was about 1 month and the process could not have gone more smoothly. The men who picked up the furniture from our apartment were professional and respectful of the pieces, handling them with care. The packing was incredible with no scratches or damage whatsoever to the pieces. They even made a foam case to house the cabinet key which i didn't realize was inside! I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking to ship furniture across the country.

Great service curb-to-curb to move items from Minnesota to California. Several fragile items including paintings, antiques, ceramics. Not a scratch. Well-packaged on the palette. Very pleased with service. Five-stars.

I found this company extremely well organized and everyone I dealt with knew what they were doing. Each step of the process was clearly communicated. People were easy to reach and both knowledgeable and helpful. Things arrived in excellent shape and on time. Driver was very helpful. It is rare to find a company where everyone knows their job so well and is so easy to deal with. We shipped items from Washington DC to California as well as Maine and Virginia. Top notch!

We cannot tell you how immensely excited we are about the amazing service we received from Ship Smart. We initially spoke to them on Tuesday July 26th. Less than 24 hours later the desk we were shipping was picked up at my sisters house in Davie, Florida. The desk was not in a box or crate. The desk was sent to the warehouse where it was very professionally and very securely wrapped and placed on a pallet. Literally seven days later the desk was in our home in Cincinnati, Ohio. While the speed and professional wrapping were important, the very best thing were the people I spoke to. No voice mails and no answering machines. Every time I spoke to someone they answered the phone and made sure everything was taken care of. In our case the desk was a 82 year old desk that my parents bought a few days after they were married in 1940. Ship Smart's care and service were simply wonderful.

ShipSmart delivered my belongings MONTHS later. They stored my belongings at a warehouse that left my belongings outside in rainy Washington state for months which caused unsalvagable WATER & MOLD DAMAGE. Everything was ruined or damaged in some way. Even the things that were not water damaged were bent, dirty, or stained. Support smaller moving companies that do not outsource all their duties and responsibilities to irresponsible companies. SHIP SMART SUCKS. I was able to recover some repayment but it took just less than a year to receive compensation.

Really great experience! I was trying to get some boxes from my parents' house to mine, too many to ship, but not enough to go for a full-on mover. They picked up the boxes on that end, and dropped them off at mine, and everything arrived in great shape. I was worried it would be a huge pain to move, or that I'd have to mess around with packing up a pallet on my own, but they made it easy.

Communication was excellent. Every time I called, my call was answered promptly and the person I spoke to was able to answer my question. The whole process worked exactly the way it was supposed to. I was very happy with the service

The timing was perfect they came when expected. Took care of our items. We were moving almost 2000 miles. The date of delivery was the date our items arrived. Working with shipsmart was the smoothest part of the move. Would definitely use them again.

They were very helpful. They made my out state move seamless and no worries or concerns. From customer service all the way to the movers . Strongly recommend them

They will take your shipment and start pressuring you for extra money. If they do that, stay firm and reach out to FMCSA and FTC with a complaint. Go to court. Know your rights and don't giving in to their pressure.

1. This company is offering people over $1000 to remove their negative reviews on this website. Check other websites see what the real rating is.
2. This company is just a middleman for actual shipping companies. They don't own any trucks or warehouses, and they don't employ any movers themselves. This means customer support is useless, and their quotes can't be trusted.
3. My experience with this company was a delivery 3x later and 2x more expensive than initially quoted.

These guys are sharks. Go with a real moving company

Our Ship Smart experience was excellent. We found their team to be responsive, professional, and they performed as agreed. We paid the extra amount to have the items moved into the house, unwrapped, and the wrapping materials were then removed from the house by the moving team. Ours was a small move from Amelia Island, FL to Chicago, IL. Small, but the items were precious to my mother. Most important was a 110 year old wicker tea cart. We even included a note that said "please treat this like your favorite great grandmother". The tea cart arrived in perfect condition, as well as the other furniture and boxes we packed. Honestly, it could not have gone more smoothly.

We were looking for a shipping option from scottsdale, Arizona to central minnesota. This company was professional, curteous, and helpful from day one. We received frequent updates…and our 238 pound metal giraffe arrived this week. It was packed great…no damage and the communication from company outstanding. I highly recommend this company for cross country shipping.
