Really disappointed with the quality of my SHO bottle. After less than a month of normal use, the paint started peeling and chipping away. I contacted customer service expecting this to be covered under warranty, but was told the damage wasn't covered because they believed it was caused by impact, even though the bottle has been used as intended.
I expected much better durability from a premium-priced bottle, especially after such a short time. The customer service response was equally disappointing, as they dismissed my concerns rather than standing behind their product. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend SHO and won't be purchasing from them again.

Not great experience with product or customer service - purchased a £30 + bottle and within a week it was scratched all over and looks so old already - contacted customer service and they said this isn’t covered and would offer 20% off another - won’t be buying another for it to look the same within a week!

I previously bought a Guzzler bottle from SHO and was really happy with it, so I decided to buy a Newt bottle for my son because it was a better size to fit in his backpack.

Unfortunately, the problems started as soon as it arrived. On day one, the lid leaked. I completely disassembled and reassembled it following the company’s video instructions, but on day two it was still leaking.

I contacted customer service, and they asked me to send a video. They then said they couldn’t accept the video because I hadn’t removed the carrying loop. A few days later, the bottom of the bottle also came off.

For a company that advertises a lifetime guarantee, I expected much better customer service. Instead, I’ve spent the last 10 days going back and forth, being told the videos weren’t good enough or that they couldn’t open them. All I originally wanted was a replacement lid, but after all this I’ve simply given up.

I’m extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the after-sales support. Based on my experience, I won’t be buying from SHO again and will be going back to the Brand I’ve used before, which has been far more reliable. I genuinely hope other customers don’t have to go through the same frustrating experience.

I have bought several SHO products over the years and, most recently, purchased the SHO Newt. I really liked the bottle itself, but unfortunately the detachable carry loop came off, causing the bottle to fall and become damaged.

Before using the bottle, I watched the fitting video and ensured the loop was attached correctly. When making my warranty claim, I was asked to provide photos of the damage and the holder attached to the bottle. In my haste, I reattached the loop incorrectly before taking the photo. I explained that this photo was taken after the incident and did not reflect how the loop had been fitted when the bottle fell.

Despite my explanation, my warranty claim was declined because the company relied on that post-incident photo and would not reconsider their decision. They never explained the purpose of the photo. I found this disappointing, particularly as I have purchased several SHO products and had expected my explanation to be given greater consideration.

I now have many many bottles and I love them all but my fav is Newt and I have them in the two sizes and many colours. Yesterday I was working on my busy London Tube station and a customer saw me drinking from my 750ml Thistle colour and they stopped to ask where I bought it from. Later the customer came back to say she had ordered 2 for herself and her daughter. Brilliant products and I will be purchasing more. I can't fault any product I've purchased and I'm well happy

Love these bottles. Sturdy, leak proof and great at keeping drinks warm/cold. Fantastic customer service too.

I have lots of sho products as in my opnion best on market. This time brought small guzzler which is great when out for short while but want a drink soon need a cupboard for their own. Great communication and quickly dwlivery.

Fast delivery of parcel. 3 different types of bottle in the pack.

I ordered 4 of their new "leak free" Newt flasks and found that to be a total lie. I have communicated with their customer services and followed the instructions in the videos and my children are still coming home with wet school books.
I asked if I could swap the 2 Newts that are still in their original packaging for another design of theirs that I know does not leak but they refused and said I was out of time to change or a refund. I was only asking to swap not a refund. The reason so much time had passed as I was really trying to make the newt work for us. They did offer me 25% off the item I wanted to swap the Newt but I would rather now give my money to a company with better customer service. I have been a loyal fan of SHO a cupboard of over twenty SHO items but have now lost the love.

Easy to purchase these great bottles and flasks. I have a SHO shelf now with no more room. That's how much I love them.

We now have 3 newt bottles which are an amazing product. The best feature has to be the ability to have fizzy drinks in it, perfect for decanting a can of fizzy juice into! We have two food flasks which are great for hot lunches. We also had one XL tumbler and recently ordered another, as they are perfect for having around the house for keeping hydrated. We were accidentally sent the wrong tumbler but the customer service was very quick to reply, they are sending out the right product and we get to keep the one they sent by mistake 🙂 All very good quality products, highly recommend.

Had 2 bottles arrived, both scratched. Emailed them picture and had 2 replacements posted immediately. Fast great service!

Bought an XL mug from this scam company and could not remove the lid / informed them of this and they asked me to send a video of me trying to remove lid (obviously did not believe me) sent the video - twice. After a few days I returned the mug and now they are refusing a refund because they say it has been used!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Update - I have just looked for my emails to pass on to bank and I think this company have deleted all the emails as can’t be found - is this even possible?

I love all my SHO products, I use them everyday for food and drinks. Great value for money, will be ordering again in the future

Started off with 2 bottles, I have now brought 11 different ones. The latest has been the newt, love this one, not yet had a hot drink in it, but have tried fizzy and it keeps fizzy for more than a day. The only problem I found is it doesn't keep ice like the other bottles I have. I even treated my husband to one.

I purchased the SHO Newt bottle and immediately had issues with the straw lid — it’s extremely difficult to draw water through, and the bottle leaks with carbonated drinks. I contacted customer service requesting a replacement lid, but instead of helping, they first sent me a video on how to assemble the lid and asked whether I had put it together properly. They then repeatedly asked for a video of me assembling it, which felt unnecessary and quite patronising. It is not rocket science to put the lid together.

Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this product or the customer service. I wish I had read the reviews on Trustpilot before buying, as it seems many other customers have had a similar experience with them refusing to act on faulty items.

purchased a SHO water bottle and matching food flask back in 2022. Unfortunately, the inside of the water bottle has developed what is very clearly rust.

I contacted customer services and sent photos and videos showing the issue. Their first response was to tell me to clean it again, as though I hadn’t already tried multiple times. I followed all their instructions anyway, but nothing changed. You can actually taste the rust, and it does not come off with cleaning.

After sending even more photos and videos, I was then told it “looks like staining.” For context, I only ever use this bottle for water — never tea, coffee, or anything else that could cause staining.

What made this especially concerning is that while attending a clinic for ongoing cancer treatment, I showed the bottle to one of the nurses looking after me. She immediately said it appeared to be rust and advised I should not be drinking from it. She even took the bottle away herself to try cleaning it properly, and when she returned she confirmed that it was definitely rust and not simple staining.

Despite all of this, customer services continued insisting I should keep cleaning it and compared it to tea-stained mugs in their office, which frankly has nothing to do with my situation.

The most disappointing part has not just been the product quality, but the refusal to properly acknowledge the issue despite clear evidence. I expected far better from a company that promotes quality products and strong guarantees.

Sadly, this has been a very poor customer service experience overall.
