From measuring to fitting went better then I expected. Everything I wanted was completed, finished to a very high standard by the skilled team. Home left clean and tidy excellent job from start to finish.

The gentlemen who arrived to put a new flat roof on
our garage where polite and hard working, they cleaned up after finishing so much appreciated, Thank you I was really impressed with their work .

We decided to go with Shropshire Home Improvements to have our soffits, fascias and guttering replaced. We couldn't have asked for better service! Every interaction we have had with them was on time, professional, polite and excellent quality.

Recently had a veranda & window fitted. Few hiccups along the way with order specifications but can’t fault the fitters Ian & Ryan. They were professional and polite and never stopped, an excellent team, who took pride in their work.

We've used shropshire home improvement to have all our windows replaced, and we are very impressed with the quality of work, and the windows that have been installed.

We required replacement gutters, soffits and fascia’s on our 1930’s semi. Shropshire Home Improvements completed the whole process quickly, to a very good standard. During consultation Leon talked us through the available options, so we could make the most appropriate choice, at a very reasonable price. The surveyor’s visit quickly followed and confirmed the details. Darren and Josh, the installers, arrived on the agreed date and were very professional throughout, taking pride in their work to complete the job on time. This included consulting with us to address a couple of minor issues arising from previous work on the house. We will definitely use them again.

Geoff and Wayne were very efficient and did a fantastic job. Really pleased with our new windows, doors and fascias. Would definitely recommend. Whenever we called, the staff were always polite and friendly.

for me they were great because hearing not good they dealt with me by text which made it easier for me thank you salesman mark was realy nice not pushy the fitters jason wayne and goff did good job neat tidy nice blokes very happy with the finish and me door looks lovely thanks a lot

They arrived at said time. They were very professional and very polite. The work they have done is fantastic. Amazing they never stopped, worked all day. None stop. Not even a break for lunch. Two amazing workers, they knew what each other was doing. Would go through this firm again.

Very attractive windows, exactly what we hoped for. Daz our fitter did an excellent job and was a pleasure to deal with.

Shocked at the quote and tactics used by this ‘family business’! We had one of their sales team round to give us a quote to fix our roof, after they dropped a leaflet through the door.

We had just moved in and told them straight away we couldn’t afford a new roof yet but the salesman was pushy and didn’t listen at all.
He proceeded to stay for 1.5 hours, measuring up for a new roof and to do this he actually bent the tape measure around our small bbq and shed (that he could have gone behind) and deducted a bit here and there saying “that will be okay”.

He then took ages telling us how our roof was about to cave in, damaging our whole first floor and we had to get it sorted immediately or the house wouldn’t be worth anything. He said we would regret it because our brand new house would be damaged and cost even more to fix!

Seeing that we were hesitant, he then said he could do half the roof now and half in a few years…all on finance! Told him we didn’t want any debt and he actually said “ it’s the only option because you’re going to really hate my quote”. He then added that whilst working out the costings, he had just realised we had the most expensive tiles and mortar (?!) on the market. Then the quote came-
£17,500 per half a roof!! But he could do it today on a special one off price for £14,500! Speechless doesn’t even come close.

Since spoken to multiple other companies and they are appalled. All saying the roof is no more than around £9,000 all in.

He also quoted us for a bay roof refit and one small single window (which he only half measured, estimating the rest) and that was £5,000!

Salesman was exceptionally pushy and used scare tactics on us to try desperately to get sale. I feel very sorry for anyone who gets sucked in, especially if they are vulnerable. Stay well clear!

In reply to your reply, this is a totally genuine review and your salesman told us our roof was caving in (which it certainly isn’t) and that was definitely his price. He then went on to offer on the day discounts. He even called his boss whilst he was with us and went over the prices so your response is the one that’s incorrect. Either your salesman is a conman or you are.

The workers, Jason Wayne and Jeff who came to fix our roof were amazing. They worked very hard and got the job done in good time.
A sales man Patrick was very pushy for us to get more work done and did not like to accept the answer no. Apart from that no problem.

From receiving the quote for the new fascias to be done to scaffolding being put up really good then finally the work eventually being carried out,Ian and son Ryan were really good,did an excellent job, would highly recommend them to others,they kept me well informed to what they were doing

Very pleased with the new porch outside the kitchen. A very difficult job to attach it to the outbuilding to ensure it is watertight, they took their time and I am delighted I will now stay dry when I take the washing out!
The father/son duo were polite, tidy and efficient. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

After reading many positive reviews and receiving a leaflet through the door we decided to book an appointment to see if Shropshire Home Improvements could help us in building our Sun Room. (A Liv In Style Conservatory)

Having never untaken a build like this before, Ben was very good at answering all our questions and insisting he could get us what we wanted within our budget, when other companies were charging more. We were over the moon.
We booked and paid our deposit in February and asked if we could be completed by Easter Half Term in April. Ben told us it would be a push but should be doable.
April came and went and we had to make contact with them to find out what the plan was. We were then given a build date. (To which we had to keep chasing - the dates and timeframe started slipping dramatically)

All of the builders and fitters were very good at their jobs and work was quickly completed. However we were told it would take 3 weeks for completion. 1 week for brickwork, 1 week for glassing and roofing and 1 week plastering and electrics etc.
Maybe we were naive but these 3 weeks were not altogether, we had to wait months for the glass to be made and then fitted and so on. The project was not competed until unfortunately the end of the summer holidays in August.

As the project went on, little things cropped up that we would mention to the fitter that wasn’t what we had discussed in the initial meeting or what we wanted and we were just told repeatedly that was how the product was made and there was nothing they could or would do about it, or that it should have been made clear to us when we had our first meeting.

For example – We wanted French doors that could be opened fully (or we would have chosen a different style of door) this was agreed for us along with them suggesting which hooks to buy for fitting to the brick wall and the fitter would do this for us.
In reality the doors only open 90 degrees and the fitter wouldn’t fit any hooks for us.
Another example, the drain pipe obstructs one window from opening at all and we were just told this is how it should have been sold to us. It was not.
The plastering on the surface looked good until it came time for us to paint, we had to spend half a day filling in holes where the plasterer had missed and then cut the bottom as they had plastererd too close to the floor for when the flooring needed to be fitted.
Also in the initial meeting we were told the room would be finished with skirting board but as we didn’t have this written down they wouldn’t do this.

We did bring all of these issues up at the time of the build, along with other things to which nothing could really be resolved or rectified.

Whilst we were pleased with the work and the finished product, the time scale was not acceptable and things that we thought we were getting didn’t always turn out like we thought.
