We have had a wonderful experience with Simplified tuition the whole service is well‑organised, supportive and clearly focused on helping students do their very best.

Our daughter was taught by Jacob, and we cannot speak highly enough of him. He has impressive depth and breadth of knowledge across every part of the A Level Chemistry syllabus — from physical and inorganic to organic chemistry. What makes him truly exceptional though is how he explains things: he breaks down complex theories, equations and reaction mechanisms into simple, logical steps that are easy to follow and remember. He adapts his pace and style so nothing feels overwhelming, and always checks understanding before moving on.

Jacob was also very methodical in preparing her for the exams — working through past papers, clarifying common mistakes and building her confidence steadily. She went from finding certain topics really challenging to feeling fully prepared and much more confident walking into her assessments.

Jacob is a brilliant teacher! At the start of my tutoring experience, my confidence in chemistry was low, however Jacob managed to teach me the most challenging topics in a thorough and simple way. I used Simplified Tution for around 4 months in year 13, after my January mocks. The service was incredible and truly helped me to understand the most difficult aspects of an incredibly challenging course, whether that be in the interactive online lessons twice a week, or using the study hub videos. The true difference maker without a doubt for myself was these videos, as alongside the online lessons they allowed me to tackle areas of the course I, personally, was not as skilled at, allowing for a personal experience that catered to my own needs as a student. Jacob himself was also incredibly attentative, always responding to messages the same or next day eith a solution, whether that was a live recording of a lesson that maybe did not have a study hub video yet, or pointing me in the right direction with an exam question I was struggling with. Could not recommend more for A-Level students who perhaps need extra support with chemistry, a wonderful platform and tutor.

If anyone is in need of a chemistry tutor, Jacob is definitely the man for the job! Not only is his teaching amazing, the resources that are also available to us are so helpful. Before I discovered Simplified Tuition, I genuinely had no hope for chemistry a level, but for the first time in a while I feel confident leaving the exam hall. This tuition is super underrated interms if the support we get given by Jacob the man himself he taught us one to one on topics that were most challenging on Inorganic and organic alongside with topic videos for us to watch in our own time which did help me understand topic questions better and feel more prepared during the exams. Jacob would always go beyond the 1 hour period which is verry considerate too. The only issue I had was their wasnt as much Inorganic videos compared to organic towards the end as it got updated and some of the videos removed were really good nonetheless he did help me alot throughout the year so big up sir Jacob.

Jacob was an amazing tutor, I only found him two months before my a levels started yet still improved so much despite it being a short amount of time. The videos on the website were really useful and meant i could revise outside of the lessons and Jacob was always there to help when i didn’t understand something, so overall really beneficial tuition and i would definitely recommend!!

my experience with simplified tuition has been awesome, the platforms they use are very friendly and useful its easy to access any lessons, if you miss a live lesson its always uploaded after or you could use one of the pre recorded ones which are just as good as the live lessons. Jacob has really been considerate and helpful anytime that l had a question l didnt understand l would ask him and he would make a video explaining it or send me a link to a video that he has already done and talked about the question. when l struggled to pay we made a payment plan whilst l was learning, he puts the education and support first which l felt like it was very polite, kind and understanding of him.

I’m super happy with my experience at simplified tuition, I went from a U to a B in chemistry in only a few months because of my great tutor Malaika and it’s a great system!

Jacob really helped me for A levels by helping me get my grade in chemistry from a C to a high B , I could not have asked for a better tutor as he has helped me get to my desired course of optometry. Jacob's lesson structures really help by linking back content from all over the year and showing how to apply the knowledge really well to questions that sound confusing at first

Jacob is an excellent tutor who has helped our daughter to not only improve in Chemistry but increase her confidence in the subject. Jacob is an amazing teacher !! I went from a gcse grade of 5 to an 8 only in a few months , I’m now continuing to do chemistry for my a-levels and I couldn’t of got here without his help and support and truly effective tuition. From Grade 4 to Grade 9 in Chemistry — Thanks to Jacob!

As a parent, I tried a few tutors for my son last October because he was struggling with chemistry, at a Grade 4. The calculations and concepts felt overwhelming to him, and his confidence was fading.

Then I came across Jacob’s advert and decided to give him a try. After the very first lesson, my son knew Jacob was the tutor he needed.

Jacob’s teaching methods, encouragement, and friendly approach made a huge difference. The interactive online software he uses is engaging and highly effective—a unique, well-thought-out system that helped my son understand how everything fits together. The recorded lessons were invaluable for revision, allowing him to revisit tricky topics at his own pace.

Thanks to Jacob’s resources, I was able to build a strong foundation in A-level Chemistry and then improve even further. His resources are of very high quality, and it is clear he spends a lot of time perfecting them. I only wish I had found Simplified Tuition much earlier. Jacob’s teaching style was tailored to the AQA mark scheme. Everything he taught in lessons came with resources and model answers full of the key words and phrases that examiners expect. The small group setting was new to me, but it turned out to be incredibly helpful.
Jacob’s feedback during lessons was always detailed and specific, which really helped close the gaps in our understanding. Another great benefit was that every session was recorded. If I missed a lesson, I could watch it back and if I had any questions afterwards, I could simply message him.
The platform itself is excellent. It provides both annotated and blank PDF notes as well as recorded sessions covering exam techniques or content, and everything can be searched easily. The A-level Chemistry roadmap covered every single point in the specification, which made revision extremely efficient.
