AVOID! Order not received, no communication. Company appears to be a scam
Placed an order on the range for a canvas on the 18th November 2025 it’s now 1st December 2025 and still no delivery, contacted simply canvas arts and the range just getting completely ignored lost money and no delivery - wouldn’t order from this company again
Ordered a canvas on 12/10/2025. Never received it- they don’t respond to emails - the line is always busy. AVOID -super scam
Ordered canvas print and never received it, tried to contact via email,and phone but absolute dead end. Raised a dispute with my bank so hopefully can get money refunded. Avoid at all costs
Don’t use this company, we never received our order sent emails (there don’t respond) poor customer service lost nearly two hundred pounds. Made a big mistake and makes you feel really silly after reading other reviews.
ordered a canvas print over 2 months ago. Still not received , not answering calls or emails. Phone line always engaged. This is obviously a scam website. Disgusting behaviour
Please do not order from this company. Goods never arrived and no way to contact them, line permanently busy, emails and chat ignored. The DX number is a genuine no that simply canvas books to generate a number but DX do not receive the parcel to deliver. I was lucky and got a charge back on my credit card.
If I could have given them a zero, I would have….
Avoid this company like the plague, they take your money and don’t deliver!
AVOID They don’t respond to any chats or emails….and if you try phoning, the phone rings and then cuts off.
I wonder if DX Express is aware that they are naming them for their shipping method. AVOID …… THIEFS!!!!!
I ordered 3 canvas 9/3/23 £269.97 only one arrived I have rang them emailed them and live chat and had no response ..... I have sent my number and my email to give them chance to recitfy my order to no avail . Please be warned they take your money and dont supply the goods
On Tuesday 7th March late morning I placed an order for a canvas of a JMW Turner painting. I had not been able to get through on the phone to check delivery but as I wanted it by the 18th I placed the order anyway, with a note to that effect. I was amazed when it arrived at 8:30 this morning Thursday 9th by DX! After text & email messages from DX giving updates. I gather these are made to order, so that is excellent. No damage, quality is what you'd expect for the price (no complaints) and amazing service, thank you.
I have to write as I find. We ordered 2 canvas's and 2 Perspex pictures. I have to give them 5 out 5 for quality and packing. We could not asked for better.
I am afraid that the customer service and delivery was appalling.
I tried ringing 20 times with no answer. I tried emailing more times than I can remember, no reply.
In the end, I found out the mother company, Wallart-Direct from Essex and I got first class service and my order arrived 3 days later.
Large canvas arrived completed bowed and does not sit flush to the wall. Have emailed them twice but no contact whatsoever. Reading the other reviews. I am not holding out much hope. I am hoping they may read this review and actually make contact!
Used this company for many years always had any problems solved.
I have now not received a canvas print i ordered, have emailed and tried phoning no use awful service took my money though, should be investigated for theft.
On receiving my framed print I was a little disappointed with the quality of my purchase, the “glass” was little more than a very light plastic covering. The very large picture had no weight at all, it was very flimsy. But the colours and content of the picture were exactly what I wanted, so I kept it, I really wish that I hadn’t. 2 months later the picture has bowed so much that it cannot sit against my wall. I tried to contact Simply Canvas Art by telephone, but they are always on answer phone and didn’t return any of my calls. Their Facebook messenger response said to contact them by telephone. I was going round in circles. I eventually contacted them via their sales department email. Initially they refused to help, but then asked for photographs they said that they would forward to management. Management advised to use Velcro to secure, I knew that this was never going to work due to the now quite pronounced bowing, and it didn’t. Simply Canvas then advised that they could offer no further help, no exchange, no refund. This company are not at all concerned about customer satisfaction. Money wasted. Please avoid.
I recently ordered and received a piece of canvas from them. I ordered a specific size for a relatively small area it should have been 20 inches by 20 inches but received 20 inches by 40 inches, there’s no space for the piece which to be frank is poor anyway. I have sent a contact form I think 4 times and not had any response. I would not recommend purchasing from this company, I have a canvas no good to me and have to shell out for another from somewhere else.
Simply canvas art will send your shipment cheaply with the courier service Yodle, and you will, like me have nothing to do all day except look up sites to review this company. Yodle doesn't even have a telephone number to speak to a real person. If you think the art is fine, then thats great, but you will be waiting in from 7am to 7pm for your shipment from them. They need to use a courier company that gives a ONE HOUR SLOT, or otherwise state on their website that they use a cheap courier.
Who wants to wait in all day for this kind of thing?
