★☆☆☆☆ — €6,500 lost, misleading wallet claims and threats when I refused to pay more
I paid Skolvia International €6,500 believing they would help recover money I had already lost. I have not received a single cent back.
During the process, they kept asking me for documents without giving me a clear, convincing explanation of why they were needed. They also sent me what I believe were fake wallets or wallet details, claiming that my recovered money was there. Despite those claims, no recovered funds were ever made available for me to withdraw. Instead, they demanded more money.
The person I dealt with presented himself as Evans Vous and provided a passport image bearing that name. I cannot independently confirm whether this was his real identity or whether the document was genuine.
After I refused to pay any more, I received persistent calls and threats against my life from the people communicating with me about this supposed recovery. This caused serious fear and distress.
Based on my experience, I strongly believe this was a recovery scam. I was already a victim of financial loss, and their promises left me another €6,500 worse off.
I have kept correspondence, transaction records, wallet details and other materials provided during our dealings. I am prepared to submit the available evidence privately to Trustpilot and the authorities.
I demand a full refund of my €6,500 and an immediate end to all threatening contact.
Stay away. In my experience, promises of recovered money led to further payment demands, no recovery and intimidation when I refused to continue paying.
