This trip is truly amazing, a mix of Loch, river and sea. Our guides Chuck and Liz worked really hard to ensure everyone was catered for, from food to physical ability.
There's so much to see and explore, calm Lochs, flowing rivers and choppy seas.
All campsites and break stops are stunning, and of course I won't forget the amazing people I shared it with.
Book this trip, you will not regret it and you definitely won't go hungry.

This truly was the trip of a lifetime in what has to be one of the most beautiful rivers on the planet. Kev inspired complete confidence in us and was knowledgeable, professional and a wonderful person (and a great chef). Our team bonded instantly and when things got tough or uncomfortable there was no moaning or despondency. This trip will stay in my memory forever and has really restored my faith in humanity. Keep adventuring and a massive thank you to all who were involved.

I booked the canoe across scotland trip with a bit of trepidation having never been in a canoe before. However it was one of the best holidays I've ever had! The group chat was helpful because we got to know a little about each other beforehand and were able to organise a meet up the night before. The guides, Robson and Elin, showed us how to pack our dry bags - the lesson being take as little as possible as you'll have to wear your dry bag while portaging the canoes past lock gates. Your dry bag is 60 litres and needs to hold your sleeping bag and camp mat plus all your gear. You also get a little dry bag which can hold your camera, sun cream, waterproof etc. We were incredibly lucky with weather in that we had beautiful sunshine all week, it only rained once overnight, and the scenery and tranquility were stunning. It was an amazing switch off from tech reset. When we got to the bottom of Loch Ness the wind had got up and was against us which made the next couple of days challenging and adrenaline fuelled and in fact we didn't get to the top of the Loch but Robson and Elin were brilliant at keeping us safe and making decisions about what to do based on the group's ability which included backtracking a couple of times to reach camping spots safely. Our group gelled quickly and everyone was willing to help anyone who was struggling. Faster ones always waited for slower ones. Wild camping was beautiful but we definitely needed our midge nets. A couple of us got tick bites too. There was always a tree available for a wild wee and when we camped we put up a toilet tent with a fairly basic bucket and bag system for no. 2s. Food and snacks were plentiful and delicious. My favourite meal was the enormous plate of haggis with whisky gravy. Robson and Elin cooked while we put up our tents which felt like a real luxury. I can't thank them enough and the rest of the group for making the week incredibly special and a trip I will remember for the rest of my life.

Had a lovely few days camping and canoeing across Scotland. As a total beginner at both of these I was very impressed with how effortlessly our guide Matt brought the whole group together. It was a really great trip, I can hardly believe I’ve done it, it was hard work but the views were stunning, the group were fun, the food was plentiful (perhaps a tad short on marshmallows…) and the kettle was always hot - a perfect trip.

I had an amazing experience on the Canoe Across Scotland trip. Sam was an outstanding guide throughout the entire journey: clear, knowledgeable, supportive, and always focused on the group's safety and enjoyment.

His instructions were easy to follow, and even if I'd never been in a canoe before, I would have felt confident and well prepared. He did a fantastic job of teaching skills, managing the group, and mitigating risks while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable.

The group itself was also great, everyone was friendly, supportive, and fun to spend time with over the five days.

I did have one issue with my sleeping mat not inflating properly, but Sam quickly arranged for a replacement to be brought by the support driver, which was incredibly helpful and meant the problem was resolved with minimal disruption.

The scenery throughout the trip was unforgettable, and there was something incredibly rewarding about crossing Scotland under your own power over five days. It was a genuine challenge at times, but one that left me with a huge sense of achievement. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for adventure, beautiful landscapes, and a memorable experience.

What an awesome time I had canoeing across Scotland and would recommend doing this trip even if you're never canoed before.

The last day we where supposed to go with cable lift and hike the rest to the top of Predné Solisko , but the cable is not open at this time and Skyhook knows it.😩

The trip has been great on many levels. Right from the beginning we were informed about the expectations of the day. We were given a great experience and when the weather made it difficult reasonable adjustments were made to keep the team safe. The meals were both imaginative and plentiful. It was nice to have some down time. The midge's were irritating but that's the only criticism I have. A fabulous time.

Had an amazing adventure kayaking and hiking on this trip. Our guide, Tuure, was calm and patient and kept us fully informed of what was happening and when. His talks about the landscape and local lores and his clear love of nature were like an extra meditation benefit thrown in. He was excellent at his job. Had a great group and although the weather didn’t play ball for Pulpit Rock it didn’t dampen any spirits. Fab trip!

Well organised trip from start to finish, Our guide Laura had great knowledge of the Lochs + canals we canoed, exceptional camping places and great food.
Highly recommended.

A brilliant 5 days canoeing trip across Scotland - made by our guide Laura - she gave us the skills - not too much instruction/relaxed - made us feel safe on the water and a great cook 😊

Our guide David was lovely, kind, patient and always looking out for us. This is a great adventure and I would highly recommend. I would say though think about the correct clothing and maybe do a little training. Its tough but you know the saying, no pain, no gain. Fantastic trip overall.

What a fantastic three days we’ve spent kayaking and hiking through the fjords.

Our guide, Fredrick, was knowledgeable, friendly, and an all-round legend. If you’re lucky enough to have him guiding your trip, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

I didn’t think it was possible, but the scenery somehow got even better as the trip went on.

We’ll definitely be booking another trip next year — but for longer this time.

Amazing weekend kayaking the Jurassic coast. The instructors at Land & Wave made the experience so seamless. They were very efficient at loading and unloading the gear and handled an unexpected parking issue calmly and effectively on a very busy bank holiday weekend. Booking via Skyhook was easy and had all the information needed. I would highly recommend, specially if you haven't kayaked before and want to try it out with experienced instructors. Food provided was also very good. I hope to book further adventures.

Trip went very smoothly from pickup in Cusco, trek up Salkantay Pass, tour of Machu Picchu and return to Cusco. Camping in tents was great especially the third evening, Our guide, Ronald, and the team were fantastic.

3 day Kayaking along the Jurassic Coast was a fabulous experience.
Our guides from ‘Land and Wave’ who ran the experience were incredible. The five young men (Ben, Matt, Tobias, Phil, Mel and James) made the experience from excellent to outstanding. We were made welcome from start to finish.

The trip itself doesn’t require any previous experience but I do recommend you do some core and arm exercises during the few weeks before you go. This really helped as some people struggled with niggles after each paddle. The views are amazing and paddling is really easy going so there’s no pressure. Make sure you take plenty of water aboard and everything is in waterproof bags.
The kit was all clean and well
maintained and the minibuses to the launch sites were good and professionally driven.
You’ll need some strength to lift the boats on and off but don’t worry if you can’t as the whole group support each other.

Food was delicious and healthy and a basic kitchen (kettles, fridges, mugs, tea and coffee) are all available and an extension lead to charge phones. Showers are hot and powerful, toilets are of high standard (for a campsite) but a little walk from the tent so you might want a bucket in your tent for nighttime. A head torch is handy too.
We used the fire pit and were provided with marshmallows and sticks. Dietary preferences were accommodated well.

Comms from Skyhook in advance of the trip was very good and we were able to introduce ourselves to the group before we went which made the first introductions on the day much easier.

There’s a choice of lovely pubs within walking distance for your evening meal.

The tents are fabulous, clean, cool and comfortable.

Highly recommended for singles, couples, friends, siblings or adult child and parent. We had a lovely mixture of all in our group.

An utterly brilliant experience! The canoeing across Scotland was incredible and beautiful. It enabled us to see Scotland from the vantage point of canals and from the middle of lochs. As a 68 year old woman with the start of arthritis I faced challenges but the whole group just support each other and felt very lucky to have been able to achieved this. Our guides Pete and Ellin were fantastic. Thank you for this wonderful experience

What an amazing experience! The activities were brilliant and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The instructors were absolutely lovely, very knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend this trip.

A fantastic experience. We went as a party of 6 and met a great group of people including Kev our guide and driver. Booking the guided trip meant that we didnt have to worry about transfers or accomodation or where to park. We could just enjoy the hikes. Although I would say I am fit (57) I was apprehensive due to reviews about the terrain but we were fine even Ben Nevis which was all snow 1000 m up. It wasnt easy by any means and long days as transfers were around 4 - 5 hours but what a laugh and a great experience. I would definitely recommend.
