Rodney is a scam.
Called for an emergency repair.
Refused to provide a quote in writing prior to completing the job. Started the job without approval.
Charged over $10k for a simple glass door repair.
Threatened and harassed us when we complained about the price and service.
STAY AWAY FROM HIM

Replaced our bedroom window was courteous and very experienced in his craftsmanship I highly recommend this company

I would not rate this guy. He did an OK job of replacing a Window but smashed the existing one to get it out instead of taking what I would have considered due care for such a task. The resul was broken glass everywhere which was half assed by way of clean up. The windows ended up being finished ok but the mess left was what killed the review. Nobody should be left with the amount of glass shards after a window replacement. All the guy was interested in was that he got a 5 star review.

Rodney didn’t quote before attending. Attended and did the job and asked for $2000 cash on the job.
Said he didn’t bring eftpos machine so had to be cash or EFT. Also refused to issue an itemised invoice.

Called mum after to request a 5 star review then called dad to ask me to remove a google review.

Needed a large glass panel replaced at our place in Greenwich NSW they provided me with a quick quote cheaper that 3 other companies we insisted them to commence job they said they would be able to do in the same day even though it was a custom glass after coming out and inspecting in person there was more work than we anticipated Rodney the Glazier is a master in his trade came up with a solution in less that 5 mins which turned up to be cost effective for us and easier for them I was honestly so impressed with his ability to find a solution in minutes

Highly recommend these guys to anyone who needs an experienced glazier with quality works !!

*1/5 stars - Beware of Skyview Glass and Aluminium's Unscrupulous Pricing Practices*

I'm extremely disappointed and feel ripped off by Skyview Glass and Aluminium. We were initially quoted $3500 verbally for a simple glass panel replacement in our sunroom. However, after completing the job, they claimed it was a "hard job" and slapped us with an outrageous bill of $6,000!

This is unacceptable and feels like a blatant case of bait-and-switch. We relied on their professional expertise and were taken advantage of. The massive price hike is not only unfair but also raises serious questions about their business practices.

I would strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution when dealing with Skyview Glass and Aluminium. Ensure you get a detailed, written quote, and be wary of any verbal assurances.
