Slanj Kilts Reviews 

Tried on a 46R jacket and waistcoat, waistcoat fitted and jacket was short on sleeves. Tried on a 46L jacket and all good. On collection was given a 46L jacket and waistcoat. Went in to have it changed and was informed they didn’t hire a long jacket and a regular waistcoat together. All hires need to be of the same size and I would need to hire two sets to enable this combo. Not informed of this during try on and couldn’t wear it. Returned unworn.

Their arrangements are beautiful. They were willing to make adjustments to flower selections show on their website. I have used them to deliver three arrangements in the past couple of weeks.

The level of customer service is outstanding. Friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I cannot speak more highly about them.

Absolutely outstanding help and advice from Steven, from choosing the tartan for the kilt to everything else to complete the outfit for the wedding.
His help in navigating the huge range of tartan available was invaluable and the finished look is fantastic. What a stunning kilt!
The price to buy the full outfit was pretty compelling too.
We're going to hire the kilt outfits for the groomsmen from here also, great choice and price.
On a side note, I love the new store at the St Enoch centre, it's huge and very central. I'll be doing some gift shopping from here for sure.

The staff at the Duke Street branch couldn't be more helpful with quick and prompt can do attitude nothing was any bother I attended the store with my autistic son and they made him feel at ease straight away due to adverse weather conditions I was unable to return the kilt until a day later all this was completely understandable by the staff members as I'd phoned ahead the previous day to notify them of the issue I've discussed with them of a wedding coming up in 2024 where I'm best man which we will require 20+ kilts at least and I'm liasonin with the groom at the moment to see where is best for the hire and what deal we'll be able to get but 100% recommend for punctuality and professionalism

Having had excellent service in Bath St, or so I thought, I tried on the hired kilt set in Duke St. and found all items were too baggy.
Clearly, try-on items are much less worn & therefore nearer their original size.
No matter; all items inc. shoes were efficiently and, without quibble, re-issued to fit.
However, after less than a hour of wear the soles on both shoes became lose and when leaving the venue to change into my non-dress shoes I just happened to have with me, the now lose soul caught on a carpet tripping me up.
My issue is not the faulty hire as such (although clearly this is a result of poor checking or perhaps a sloppy repair) but I was simply told “that’s what can happen with shoes” and a brief apology.
I asked, “is that all you can do about it?” and when the same answer was given, I couldn’t be bothered taking the issue further and walked out without comment.
Surely, this company with such a good reputation could have a better initial reply?
PS: Once home, further contact was made and I understand some financial settlement was to be offered but the damage was done, I’d had a good day at the event and didn’t need to take this further.

Absolutely brilliant service and very helpful staff

I recently took part in the Glasgow kiltwalk, On the day I wore a lovely kilt from Slanj,free of charge to kilt walkers,I went in got measured up and picked the kilt up 2 days before the event and returned it 2 days later,I even got to pick my choice of tartan!
The staff in the shop were very nice and friendly and they too were taking part in the kiltwalk.
I would recommend Slanj kilts to anyone looking to hire a kilt as they have some beautiful kilts, tartan trousers, jackets etc.

Wow phoned friday to hire a jacket and waistcoat, turned up on booked appointment to be told there would be a surcharge, explained i need a prince charlie for a formal to be told they don't hire them, even though i asked for this on initial call, waste of time and now left me trying to source 3 days before event

I purchased several of these face masks, they come in various quality and price range. I opted for the higher quality face masks and have not been disappointed, I'm very pleased with mine, the only thing that may put some people off is that you have to hand wash them, for me it's not a problem as I hand wash all my wool jumpers any way.

Bought 3 of these masks back in May or June. Can’t fault them. Been worn constantly since then with no issues! Daughter lost her one yesterday so I intend to order a replacement today 👍🏻

Ordered 6 masks and after over a month wait, I was pleased to receive them. First wash on delicate cycle left 5 in perfect condition and one which came apart at the seams.

Reported to the customer service and instead of replacing the faulty unit, a member of the customer service team suggested that it was "just good luck that they have come out in one piece" after not washing them by hand. And that I could order more with a discounted postage if I wanted to replace the faulty one at my own cost.

Dissapointing product. Poor Service. Avoid this company.
