Smart Home Shop procured a sophisticated burglar alarm interface board from its manufacturer in China and made it reliably available in the UK.

I don't mean like generally reselling a Chinese thing, these are very niche and they had imported the complicated one I needed. Excellent and fast service and good packaging of delicate parts.

They’ve been helpful with queries and troubleshooting Zigbee connections, and their pre-sales advice on products like the Shelly EM has been spot on. While some communication delays have occurred, most experiences have been smooth. I’d recommend them for smart home needs.

Website easy to navigate. Order promptly dispatched for next day delivery. I was well informed about all the process and I didn't need to contact support or help line so can't comment on that.

My only frustration is about the courier you are using, EVRI. You sent out the goods quickly and efficiently but unfortunately EVRI have failed to do their part - even after tracking and raising a ticket with them. No other courier has any problem finding our house except this one it seems. Please could you use a better Courier

Product and correspondence from Smart Home Shop was fine. Delivery information from Evri was abysmal.Evri emailed on Tuesday : couldn't deliver today will deliver on Wednesday; Repeated next day; nothing on Thursday; delivered Friday.

You used Evri, the device has still not arrived. Meanwhile goods ordered from other retailers who used good couriers have arrived.

very helpful when contacted by email over a query about micro pc for home assistant, even at 9:20 at night! 2 minutes later I got a reply. " more follow up queries were handled promptly. Even let me choose a delivery date and courier when I placed the order.
