Owner situation
I had an unfortunate experience with the owner of this business while he was driving a vehicle displaying the company's branding on I-26. While passing another vehicle, he drove off the paved roadway into the median/roadside, kicking up a rock that struck and damaged my windshield.
I flagged him down immediately afterward. He stopped, provided his personal cell number and insurance information, took photos of the damage, and told me his insurance would likely repair the windshield rather than replace it.
I was therefore very surprised when his insurance company later informed me that he claimed to have maintained his lane of travel the entire time, never entered the median, and was unaware of kicking up any rocks. That account is very difficult to reconcile with what I personally witnessed and our interaction immediately afterward.
I tried reaching out directly and received no response.
I'm sharing my experience so others can draw their own conclusions.
