At the very beginning of my Smile Life journey, around Feb 2021, I was very happy and excited to begin! I set up a free video call with a lovely lady, whose name I can’t recall, who walked me through the impression kit stage. My main concern with my teeth were my canines, which protruded outwards.I had trained myself to hide my teeth when talking or smiling. I originally planned to go abroad for a full new set of teeth, then the pandemic happened and that went out the window. So this seemed like a great option. The first impression kit was no good, so they sent me out a larger tray for free and managed to get my impressions done. I opted for the three month instalment payment plan and my aligners arrived within a month or so.
The packaging was great and I couldn’t wait to start! 18 aligners for the top and 8 for the bottom!
They require you to add photos to their app every thirty days, which I adhered to (apart from a time when I was hospitalised and was unable to, which I alerted them to and they completely understood!)
As the months went on I wanted to look back at my check in pictures to see the progress I had made, and they disappeared. I mentioned this on the phone to them and they said not to worry, “it’s grand” I was told!

I finished my bottom aligners and I was told just to continue wearing the last aligner until I was finished with my top ones. 20 weeks with the same aligner????disgusting! They did assure me I was entitled to a free replacement aligner so I ordered that ten weeks in.

As December approached and my end date, I reached out to ask what the next step was. I had received a message which went to my junk mail, asking to jump on a quick video call, so a week later when I found the message I replied and asked when they could do this. They replied they were busy and it would be the new year before they could arrange a meeting. So what do I do for another month??? No clue! No reply! I was passed around several different employees and ended up chatting with “Stephen”, who I began to suspect was an AI automated messaging system. Very cold, abrupt messages, that felt copied and pasted, and usually not answering my main concerns. Stephen then told me my pictures were missing from the app and could I go back and add the last two check ins. So go back in time and take pictures of my teeth? After several attempts they received my pictures and I waited for a reply to see if I could continue treatment, which I was happy to pay for of course, I just wanted a yes or no answer, is this possible?

Then Stephen graces my inbox with a very unprofessional, yet again blunt and abrupt, email saying I need to visit my dentist to discuss oral hygiene, have a clean etc. I was dumbfounded! I just spent 360 euro in November/December having my teeth cleaned, a couple of fillings etc, My dentist said I was crazy for trusting an online company such as this.

I guess the weeks of back and forth emails, picture taking and waiting (and my aligners cracking, causing my tongue and gums to bleed, but told I would need to pay 55 euro for replacement ones (each) when I wasn’t sure if it was possible to continue treatment at another great exspense) I ended up breaking down and having a good cry! (Hey, men can cry too you know!?) I replied and said I found his email very offensive and poorly worded, to which he replied “I’m sorry you feel that way. I’m not a dentist” and told me my guarantee is void (because of the missing pictures) and to purchase further treatment. Their app is to blame for my missing pictures, I tried on several devices!

I can now see this has happened to MANY others thanks to TrustPilot. Why didn’t I research beforehand? What started off as an exciting, positive experience, where I would’ve have rated this company 5 stars, has ended in a limbo of negativity, uncertainty and made me feel like complete crap. It seems they just want your money and don’t care once they have it.

Like others have said, go elsewhere, maybe pay that bit more and hopefully you will have a better experience than I did.

Very happy with my treatment. Always someone there to help on the app messaging service. I really disliked my teeth for a long time they were over lapping a lot and felt I could never afford braces, so believed the issue would never be solved. Came across SmileLife on a Facebook advertisement and couldn’t believe my luck! So much more affordable than invisilign and other brands. I’ve now completed my treatment and wearing the retainers. The results are amazing! I’ve so much more confidence now when smiling 😁 Would highly recommend SmileLife to anyone considering braces 👍

Very happy with the treatment, very fast results. It's a very comfortable way to get your teeth straight without visiting the dentist every month.

I have finished my aligners since December and and waiting for my retainers to arrive.Over all I was very happy with the service and the team was always very quick to respond to any of my questions the only problem I had was I had to get an extra aligner for my bottom teeth it arrived quickly but it cracked after a few weeks, I bought a replacement one and unfortunately the same thing happened again so since my top teeth has finished now I was told to move on to retainers I do feel there could have being more movement on the bottom but the team seems happy with my teeth 😁 over all I definitely would recommend Smile life to friends and family

The customer care from these guys is exceptional no matter when you email with a question be it a weekend you will always get a quick response. I had a question about my aligners and IPR and I got multiple responses from different members of the care team advising me on how best to do it. The quality of the product and the app and how it’s set up is great also, makes the whole experience very easy

I finished my aligners and I am 6 months into wearing my night retainers. I found the process easy, and am happy with the realignment of my teeth except for one tooth. To me, it still kicks out and I see it every time I look in the mirror. There is an improvement but I did think it would be sitting in with the rest of my teeth better. I can't even view the original predicted results on the app any more. It views me as a new customer again :(

While I found the customer service to be good before and mid treatment, nobody has ever checked to see if I was happy with the results or how I'm getting on with the retainers. I feel there should be a follow up after the process is finished.

So I am at the outset and I have many questions having received my aligners package which arrived promptly. What I can say is that every question I have had and sometimes 7/8 a day have been responded to promptly and it gives me peace of mind. Looking forward to the journey and seeing the final outcome!

My experience with SmileLife has always been fantastic! The staff is absolutely super professional and kind. Always available to support and provide advice. The treatment with invisaligners has been great and easy. I'd recommend SmileLife to everyone!

Aftercare is atrocious, as are consultants at Baggott Street. Had to go to a private dentist to confirm what I already knew (i.e.that I was left with gaps between my teeth) and had to submit these scans to SmileLife before they would concede. Finally purchased my final retainer- queried it after a 3 week wait and was informed somebody forgot to send it to print, so another long wait. Not happy at all

I am finished my treatment and my teeth are perfectly straight! Anytime I had a question I was emailed back promptly, the treatment is easy and the time flew by! I was so nervous the day I went up for my impression but the staff are so friendly and assured me if I followed my treatment plan I would get the results, and I did! I’m delighted 🙂

I was considering aligners for a long time, but had no idea which company to choose or where to even start and was wary of how well this would work. I ended up going with smile life after a friend referred me. Very glad I did as I've had a great experience. Only on my third retainer and can already see the difference.
The team are always very quick to respond to any queries, access to an app to track progress/time your sessions with aligners out and helpful reminders to use IPR/ change retainers :). The kit comes with everything you need too! Haven't got a bad word to say!

I’m so pleased with the results. My teeth are perfectly aligned and the best part is it was affordable for me. The staff are helpful , prompt and have a down to earth friendly manner too which helps. Finally I can smile without that self conscious feeling. Thanks!

My daughter has been wearing the aligners for about 2 months now, the upper teeth are already fully straight and we can see a huge improvement in the lowers. 3 more months to go for the lower teeth, she is very excited this is working so well. The scan was superquick with Jaime putting her at ease and making it fun. The support team has been very helpful with all our questions and I am glad we chose aligner treatment with Smilelife to straighten her teeth. A really good alternative to the usual "train tracks".

Great experience, customer service is great and my teeth are now straight after 8 months with clear aligners that most people didn't even notice I was wearing. Very happy.

An all-around incredible experience from the beginning.

I had the Smile Life aligners for 4 months and I am delighted with the results! It has changed my smile in a very good way and gained me the confidence back!
