I got my top eventually just be aware that it apparently takes 45-50 days to receive your items.

Customer services eventually improved.

The jersey arrived in ample time - about 6 weeks after ordering which is well within the timeframe stated on their website - so be patient. I don't know how they make these shirts so perfect - I'm very impressed. I cannot envisage a better Netherlands shirt than this simple trefoil and 3 striped design, implemented with style by SM Retro. Lovely job.

In December 2024 I ordered two Sunderland shirts , I received one of those shirts four months later . I emailed them to point out that I had ordered two and received a polite reply that this was because of shipping policies? and that I would be given a new tracking number and to expect the other shirt in the mail. Today is the seventh of June 2025 and I've just received the second shirt in the mail, only it's a Liverpool shirt !
There's a lesson here , don't order shirts from this company .
An update :
I was promised a full refund and a shirt of my choice by SM Retro and asked to remove the review.
Today is the 30th of August 2025 and so far no refund and no shirt .
Again , read the negative reviews before pulling the trigger .
I've given up .

Ordered this as soon as I saw the pictures because it looked faithful to the original. Delivery was several weeks from Thailand so do not be worried if your order is taking a while - it will arrive eventually. The shirt is sublime and far exceeds my expectations. Positive experience in the end just remember what I said about delivery.

It was great to see the Liverpool 1978-79 3rd shirt on their website as I have been looking for it for years and no company was selling it. Needless to say I ordered it immediately and after a few weeks it arrived, and I am overwhelmed by the quality. Everything is as per the original and it is clear that great care was put into making this repro as faithful as possible. Brilliant!

Ordered a retro shirt from SM Retro 8th December, and I still haven't received it.
I Can't even track the order.
I wrote an email, and they said that I should have the opportunity to track the order in February, but yet I still can't track it.
They're not answering my emails, and now its 3,5 month ago I ordered it.

Now I’ve receiver it, but still 4 months after the order.

Have ordered Jerseys on a few occasions. While the delivery time can be quite long in my experience the quality of Jerseys is second to none. The wait is worth it.

Ordered two retro shirts in DECEMBER, one only one got delivered in January, the customer services told me there had been an error and they would resend. It is now March and still no shirt. I contacted customer services and they told me it had been delivered!!! absolutely not the case, they have refused to give me refund. Shocking service from the start (over six weeks for one shirt to arrive) and now accusing me of lying that i have received the missing shirt. BUYER BEWARE.

Superb shirt with pristine fabric and embroidery. Easily the best quality retro shirt on the market. The shirt arrived in 6 weeks, so within the timescales given on their website. It’s no surprise that this company has so many great reviews. I feel some of the negativity on here is unfair as reviews were left by customers before their order arrived or their issue was resolved. People should be more patient. My dealings with the staff at smretro have been very positive and I can vouch that they always try their best to ensure customers are satisfied. I’d happily recommend this company to anyone looking for retro shirts.

Having bought retro shirts from other companies over the years, I can say finding SM Retro has been a game changer. I’m very impressed with the quality of the shirt, and the professionalism of the staff. The shirt is actually a much nicer version of the original, with modern manufacturing techniques improving the look and production standard. Their website is very impressive, and caters for a large variety of teams. Looking forward to my next purchase. Highly recommended.

Great product, great price delivery and little long but communication throughout was excellent, will definitely be using again

I placed an order from this company on 29th December 2024 and I still haven’t received my order. The tracking number hasn’t worked and the company even provided a replacement number that hasn’t worked even though I was told it would work after 11th February. Do not order from this company you will not receive your package.
