Joining the social impact newbie community was a a breathe of fresh air, as I newly found a community that could relate with my journey in navigating the social impact space newly.

Berta provided a very safe and welcoming space for everyone. She prepared intriguing questions/jam boards for newbies to social impact. She allocated time for Zoom breakout rooms, which was a great way to think about my aspirations in seeking jobs in social impact as well as learn about my cohort's interests. I recently joined the Community and only participated in a webinar on how to network on LinkedIn, and I found it really useful! The presentation was well structured, Berta provided concrete examples of the tips she shared - which were both fictional and based on her personal experience - and the cheatsheet that was shared at the end looks simple but a good starting point. Found it very professional and indeed a safe space for us to ask questions/share our thoughts with no shame/anxiety/etc that one might feel on these occasions.
