I had a fantastic experience at Sofology Reading thanks to Amber, who made the whole process of choosing and ordering my new sofa incredibly easy.
From the moment I arrived, Amber was welcoming, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. She took the time to talk me through all the available options without any pressure selling, which I really appreciated. I felt completely comfortable making my decision, and she ensured I got exactly the sofa I wanted.
There was a small mix-up where the order was processed through the Farnborough store rather than the Reading store. However, I’d like to highlight that the purchase was made through Amber at the Reading branch, and she was the one who assisted me throughout. She handled everything professionally and made sure it was all sorted without any stress on my part.
Amber also helped me exchange my old order for a new one with absolute ease. What could have been a complicated process was handled smoothly and efficiently, and I’m so pleased with the outcome.

I’m disappointment and frustrated with…
I’m disappointment and frustrated with my recent experience regarding my sofa order.
I placed my order at the beginning of November, and as of today, I have still not received it. Given the lengthy delivery timeframe quoted at the point of sale (approximately four months), I believe customers should reasonably be given more flexibility to reconsider details such as colour or design during the early stages of the order.
Just two days after placing my order, I contacted your team to request a simple colour change. I was extremely frustrated to be informed that because my request was made after 49 hours rather than within a strict 48-hour window, I would be charged a £300 penalty to proceed with the change. This rigid application of policy feels wholly unreasonable, particularly as production had clearly not begun and delivery was still months away.
Despite the minimal nature of the request and the long lead time, there was no willingness from your customer service team to show understanding or flexibility. The lack of clear communication and the unhelpful attitude I encountered left me feeling treated unfairly as a customer.
In conclusion, I am extremely disappointed with the way my complaint has been handled. Despite raising clear concerns and giving Sofology the opportunity to address the issue, my complaint has been completely ignored and no meaningful effort has been made to resolve it. This lack of response and accountability is unacceptable and has only added to my frustration,This has been a deeply regrettable experience and has significantly affected my confidence in your company.

Great choice and first class service
Great choice of styles, configurations, colours and materials, all with great quality and finish. Ali, our salesman, was really helpful and knowledgeable of the products and helped us get to the right choice and options. This is the second time we’ve purchased from Sofology, with the first pair of sofas now 10 years old and still comfy and in great condition. It was just time for a change of style and colour tone. Would thoroughly recommend a visit to the Reading store, if you are in the market for sofas.

Ali was great!
We visited the Reading showroom knowing what couch we wanted as we visited before. Ali wasn't pressuring us the first time to purchase the couch, he explained to us the monthly payment options.
We weren't sure about the colour, so he was patient with us choosing the right one! He explained to us the after care and the warranty if we wanted it with the purchase and what the benefits are. He was professional and friendly throughout the purchase.
Highly recommend sofology!
