Excellent quality work by these industry veterans!

I have had 2 solar installs (1 with battery) for our property company. Both have been done efficiently and cleanly and I am thrilled with the results.

John and his team really took the time to explore all the options, including accommodating new equipment just released to the market most others dont

We approached three different companies for quotes, but Solar Insight stood out from the start. John spent a significant amount of time with us talking through all the options—from the number of panels to inverter performance and how different setups would impact future output. We had a lot of questions (probably more than most!), and every one of them was answered clearly and patiently.

What we appreciated most was the honest, no-pressure advice. Rather than pushing a standard package, John helped design a system tailored specifically to our needs and usage.

Installation was equally impressive. The attention to detail was clear throughout, and everything was completed to a high standard. Sam, the electrician who did the electrical work, was professional and meticulous, which gave us a lot of confidence in the final setup.

Even after installation, the support didn’t stop. Both John and Sam took the time to help us get everything set up on the app so we could properly monitor both the panels and the battery, and were quick to respond to any follow-up questions.

Overall, we’ve been really happy with the whole process and would definitely recommend Solar Insight to anyone considering solar.

For those considering the installation of solar panels, look no further than Solar Insight. From the initial communication with John Wells, their Sales Director, he provided an honest assessment of what would be best suited on an unusual roof design. A practical solution was achieved which has exceeded my expectations. Two trees were removed on his recommendation to ensure optimum sunshine onto the multiple panels. The scaffolding, solar panel and inverter + battery installation went to plan with the teams co-ordinating their engagement. My only regret? Not engaging Solar Insight a few years ago!

This job was part of a wider project including insulation, windows and heat pump. As part of the estimating process John spent over 3 hours with me looking at the existing setup and providing options for the number of panels and a battery. It was all explained clearly and provided me with a very good foundation for making a decision on the work to be done.
Once a date was finally agreed the work was done quickly and tidally. The installation team were friendly and polite and their work was of a good standard. The installation took less than a day and the panels have been working fine for the last 5 weeks. Particularly important for me and my neighbour the scaffolding was only up for 5 days.

I had my solar panels cleaned by John from Solar Insight. He did a fantastic job, showed me photos showing exactly how he would clean them. No scaffolding needed thankfully. Kept me informed every step of the process including price per panel. He was punctual, polite and keen to know if I was satisfied with end result. Definitely will get panels cleaned again by them.

I had this company service and clean my 15 year old solar panels which were sorely in need of attention. From my first meeting with John I was impressed by his understanding and sincere approach in meeting my needs. The work was proficiently done in an awkward location, with Sam, the electrician, identifying several issues needing attention.

It is less than a month since the panels were cleaned ( 9 July) making it difficult to assess if there has been any significant improvement in their output. But there have been a few days when their peak output has been slightly higher than before the panels were cleaned. The benefits may become more apparent as the hours and intensity of sunlight declines.
