Samsung Galaxy A34
So I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A34 phone from them 2 years ago. Like everybody here says, the price was 30-40 euros below the price of most other vendors and everything was OK for 2 years. But then the phone broke and I needed service. I went to the Samsung Technical Assistance in Porto, they checked the phone and told me "Sorry, we are not allowed to service your phone because you purchased it in Oman, United Emirates.". I said I had purchased it in Portugal, but they said the phone ID shows them it was purchased in Oman. Since Samsung declined to service the phone and I needed it urgently, I went to a couple of third-party repair services, who were not able to do anything, they said they didn't know why the phone doesn't work. Then after a while I wrote to Samsung, who replied to me that their Technical Service has the final say, and phones purchased out of the UE have different parts that are not available in the UE ("Caso seja direccionado a outro mercado que não o Europeu, poderá não ser possível a reparação devido à incompatibilidade de peças.)
So I contacted the vendor to ask me why they sold me an unserviceable phone, to which they told me I shold have sent the phone to them. They offered to pick it up from me in Porto and have a look at it, but I wouldn't like to send my phone with personal information hundreds of km away to an unknown person to do who knows what with it.
The moral of this:
If you want to save a few euros and risk buying a device that may not qualify for authorized service in Portugal, it's OK to buy from this store.
Or, check your product as soon as you received it with the authorized technical service in your area, to make sure they can service it.
