Flow Simulation basics covered on 1st day – tutor was very patient waiting for me to keep up !
They had put in a lot of extra work to find the best way to model our custom project, and went through it in great detail on the 2nd day to give us a good start.

As a micro SME who have recently undertook more inhouse CAD design, SolidX were first to reach out and help bridge the gap in helping us to adopt Solidworks as our primary CAD tool. Through Solidworks SME early adoption scheme. This scheme has given us access to free professional keys to allow our small team of product designers access core and more specialised tools within the Solidworks suite.

Having started my design and scanning consultancy in June 2024, I turned to SolidX for a SolidWorks licence. Matt ran through the options, and we decided a SolidWorks 3D Experience licence was an ideal match. With assistance from Ed, I was up and running in no time. The 3D Experience package is great, the cloud PDM has already proved useful in sharing files with clients and the SolidWorks package is as good as ever with the bonus of straightforward updates from the control panel. I can’t recommend the SolidX team enough, the no-pressure sales approach and prompt technical help has made the switch to the 3D Experience Platform smooth, allowing me to grow my business quickly.

This is an easy review to write. I made enquiries to purchase a new CAD package at Solidworks. I was sent a referral to one UK vendor, but I decided to seek out other vendors. Happily, I came across SolidX, and was very quickly engaged in a consultation with the team. They steered me through the multitude of options available, without any hard sell or pressure tactics and suggested offers that might be interesting and assisted us with other aspects. The price was great, the service was better and I can be comfortable that they regard us as clients, not customers. The best thing has been the ongoing support. I am able (and do) call directly to the team and get swift if not immediate responses. I understand that they are a young but ambitious business, and it shows.
