My Experience with SoracaMed – Deceptive and Unprofessional
I feel it is my duty to warn international patients about SoracaMed. I initially came for combined treatment (blepharoplasty and dental restoration) based on promises of a licensed medical facility, qualified surgeons, and proper planning.
⚠️ What actually happened:
• No treatment plan or contract was provided in advance.
• Upon arrival, I was taken to what looked more like a dental office than a medical clinic.
• My X-ray was done, and I clearly said I wanted to keep my existing metal-ceramic bridges and avoid unnecessary implants.
• However, without proper consultation, my healthy teeth were filed down, and existing bridges were forcefully removed by a general dentist — not a specialist.
• After this, I was told my teeth were now too weak for bridges and implants were my only option.
This destruction forced me to go to another clinic later, where I had to undergo 4 unexpected implants and tooth extractions — with proper 3D scans and surgical consultations that I never received at SoracaMed.
I requested a refund for the incomplete and harmful treatment, and only after pressure they agreed to return part of the money — but only if I signed documents waiving all claims. I had no choice. I signed under duress just to get anything back.
When I posted my review, they responded publicly with a highly embellished and inaccurate version of events. They even fabricated a detailed treatment plan that was never presented to me.
📍No licenses shown: I formally requested proof of their licensing to treat international patients and perform surgical services. To this day, they have not provided any official documents.
📍No specialist on site: No implantologist or surgeon examined me before teeth were irreversibly damaged.
📍No medical diagnostics: There was no real diagnostic equipment beyond a basic X-ray.
📌 Conclusion:
This is not a proper medical clinic. It appears to be a network of intermediaries renting offices and referring freelance dentists. Patients like me are misled by platforms such as Bookimed, which refuse to take responsibility even when serious complaints arise.
I urge others to demand transparent documentation and verify licensing directly with the Turkish Ministry of Health, not rely on agencies or platforms that may protect their own partners rather than patients.

First, let us briefly summarize the situation. You arrived on June 8th, and as we had informed you, Turkey was on official holiday until June 10th. We mentioned that you could enjoy your vacation during this period and that we would begin your treatment on June 10th. You mentioned that you would be in Antalya until June 18th and were concerned that the treatment might not be completed in time.
On June 10th, we performed the upper eyelid surgery. At that time, you informed us that you did not have the money for payment and would make both payments once we started the dental treatment. The following day, you confirmed you would like to make the payments together at the start of the dental procedure. We accepted this in good faith and moved forward.
On June 11th, we began your dental treatment. All necessary X-rays and examinations were performed. You came requesting 3 implants and 26 zirconium crowns. After reviewing your X-rays, we recommended at least 4 implants and also offered an alternative of 6 implants with 26 crowns. You chose to proceed with the 4 implants and 26 crowns, and we proceeded accordingly.
You made both payments together, as discussed, and we clarified that your updated treatment plan, with all relevant details, would be provided to you.
Regarding your concerns:
Treatment Plan and Booking: You booked your reservation through Bookimed, and all treatment plans were uploaded in their system. We also shared all treatment details with you via WhatsApp one week before your arrival.
Dental Treatment Planning: The treatment was planned and agreed upon with our dentist. You confirmed this, and the treatment began after reviewing your X-rays, which were also shared via email.
Healthy Teeth and Treatment Details: As explained during your consultation, the X-ray showed 8 teeth in your lower jaw, 6 in your upper jaw, and 8 existing crowns. We performed a thorough examination, and each step was discussed with you. You explicitly stated you wanted to proceed with the 4-implant option, with the possibility of switching to 6 implants later.
Temporary Crowns: As you mentioned, temporary crowns are not meant to be aesthetically perfect but to protect your teeth while permanent crowns are being prepared. Your temporary crowns were in place for 2 days, and despite your crowns being ready, you chose not to return for their placement.
We would like to clarify that every surgeon has their own approach. We repeatedly asked if you were satisfied with the results. You only voiced concerns verbally without providing written details.
No errors were made during your treatment, and we offer bone grafts free of charge when necessary. Other clinics may suggest additional procedures or sales to increase revenue, but our priority is patient health and satisfaction. You are welcome to consult with other clinics, and share your X-rays with them. Any surgeon viewing your X-ray will easily understand there was no need for an open sinus procedure.
Regarding your negative review, we want to stress that no mistakes were made in the services provided. Your treatment was reviewed by 5 different surgeons. If you choose to continue your treatment elsewhere, that is entirely your decision. However, any additional charges or sales by another clinic are not our responsibility.
We also find it deeply concerning that you made inappropriate and discriminatory comments about our Ukrainian staff, calling them "dogs" and stating you wouldn’t have come if you knew they were Ukrainian. We strongly oppose any form of racism or discrimination, and such behavior is not tolerated at our clinic.
Lastly, we would like to point out that commenting on dental treatments you did not complete is not appropriate. We have always strived to provide the best possible care for all of our patients.

The service was wonderful, transportation and translation excellent, thank to coordinators Eldar and Valeriia The procedure itself went smoothly and painlessly. Doctor Feridun Elmas is highly professional, he can take risks and managed individual health problems of his every patient very well.
My only wish was to be able to discuss with him some details in post-operation period, but unfortunately he was too busy.
Anyway,I like the results of the surgery,
and I would recommend this doctor and Soraca clinic to my friends and anyone who is looking for a good plastic surgeon.

I’ve had a great experience with a corrective tummy tuck +lipo . They were fantastic with providing me good options with the result I was looking for. The surgeon was great and the medical director who advised me from the start -end was so helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. The hospital in Istanbul was clean and the nurses were so lovely. I’m now at 5 months post op and I very happy with the result. Would highly recommend - UK customer
