Highly skilled and trained staff, high clients-to-practitioner ratio and lots of attentiveness during the whole process. The food was fantastic, and I really appreciated their alignment with indigenous ways.
The preparatory exercises, and the continued inquiry with those tools throughout the week, offered a good scaffold. Do you have a way to process the medicine experience in a productive way. Highly recommend this facility and these practitioners.

It was truly a privilege and a gift to mySelf to come down to Costa Rica and be a guest of SoulCentro, or Soul Central as I call it. I have a deep affinity and reverence for plant medicines. I heard about Iboga one day and felt an instant pull. I was referred to a couple providers and picked SoulCentro for their solid medical screening. Iboga is no joke, and I wanted the first experience to be as safe as possible (just in case I had a heart condition that I wasn’t aware of, for example). They are fully dedicated to the work of Iboga in its most authentic form. They prepare you very well! They know the medicine. The preparation pre-ceremonies was WORK for me, going to places I didn’t want to go to, feeling very raw and vulnerable. I never felt judged and « the more you reveal, the more you heal. » So, thanks so much SoulCentro family!!!

I couldn’t have imagined the profound stillness and inner connection that this sacred medicine gave me. Being my first plant medicine ceremony, of course I had fears & doubts arise during my time. But Chor, Elizabeth and the entire team at SoulCentro created the safest container for all, ensuring we could fully surrender to the experience in peace.
I felt held, I felt heard and I felt nourished from body to soul!

I've been around the subculture of plant medicine for decades. For me, the best and most trustable practitioners are those who truly honor their medicines. That honoring does not make them super-human, but it does--if they are genuine--make them invaluable guides for those of us looking for giudance. It was a true blessing to be in ceremony with Chor and Elizabeth at Soul Centro. My experiences were profound and they carried themselves and each other with the utmost of integrity.
When Iboga calls you, I could not recommend anyone more highly.
Oh, and the food. Wow. As with everything there was tremendous attention to detail.

I had a life changing experience at SoulCentro. For such a profound but intense experience, the entire team was perfect for each of their roles. Couldn't have asked for a better care team, each knowledgeable and an expert in their field. I felt safe the entire time. The retreat was recommended to me by two friends, one who has known Elizabeth for over a decade. After my own experience, I'd highly recommend it too.

Words cannot fully encompass my gratitude to soul centro. It was not my initial choice for my iboga journey, but my soul told me the initial choice was not the right one, and a few months later, Elizabeth’s book arrived to my house, after a few remarkable and raw chapters, I knew I would be safe in whatever container she had created and those she chose to place into it to work alongside her.

Upon arrival I was immediately greeted with love and felt like I was with family. Chor alongside Elizabeth greeted us with open arms and open hearts, I felt held and loved from the moment I entered and still weeks later feel that beautiful presence. This is not a typical journey for me. It was extremely challenging at times and yet there was always a warm smile and an open conversation whenever I needed it.

Intention was placed into every minute of the day. So much love and energy and beauty all around. I will forever cherish this experience and the beautiful people who held me and led me to the otherside. The medicine is profound, but the intention of the team is just as important. Every detail was carefully curated. The meals were incredible, the almost daily massages were epic, and most importantly the ceremonies were safe. At no point did I feel like I wanted to get out of there.

If anything I only wish I stayed longer because just being in the presence of the medicine and the sacred space that’s been created is a blessing all in itself.

I am forever in the deepest gratitude to Elizabeth and Chor for following their calling, and grateful that universe has brought Patrick and Michele into the collective hive. Everyone holding space has such a unique personality. With an open mind, no judgment just love.

It made my journey so much easier. I cannot imagine doing it in any other way. There’s so much gratitude for the medicine and the way it’s prepared, and served with love and respect to its origins. Thank you a million times I will forever be with an “attitude of gratitude” as Chor says.

One word… REAL. My journey with the Bwete and Iboga began in 2010. After my initiation in 2017, Rites of Passage, and many medicine experiences later it’s hard to impress me because I expect what the Bwiti teach ~ do the work, heal, and be the BEST version of truth you can be.

Thanks to Elizabeth and Chor I had the opportunity to live the experience of an iboga retreat for myself, at 21 years of age I have gone through many traumatic experiences in my life including abuse, for years I carried that pain and sadness until I found out of the existence of iboga, it really marked a before and after in my life! now I feel free, happier and more confident in myself. Soulcentro is a beautiful place with nature around you, you are going to fall in love with Costa Rica and its food❤️ we all deserve a second chance to be happy and healing ❤️‍🩹

Gracias a Elizabeth y Chor tuve la oportunidad de vivir por mi misma la experiencia de un retiro de iboga , a mis 21 años de edad he pasado por muchas experiencias traumaticas en mi vida incluyendo abuso, por años cargué con ese dolor y tristeza hasta que supe de la existencia de la iboga, realmente marcó un antes y despues en mi vida! ahora me siento libre, màs feliz y segura de mi misma.. Soulcentro es un bello lugar con naturaleza alrededor, van a enamorarse de Costa Rica y su comida❤️ todos merecemos una segunda oportunidad de ser felices y sanar ❤️‍🩹

I may well have witnessed a therapeutic miracle for a 20 year old, non-paying guest. On the other hand, my experience was of financial, verbal and emotional abuse! The immaturity of the leadership team was shocking. One MUST feel safe in order for plant medicine to work and the husband and wife in charge aren't even kind to each other in front of the guests! - My response to their response - Their protestation that they don't "shame" their guests is fascinating given that that is exactly what happened repeatedly to me, but not a word I used. Their response is pure gaslighting, which is exactly what their promotional materials and my experience are/were full of! None of my unpleasant experiences had to do with what the medicine brought up, but rather the immaturity of so-called "trauma informed" leaders.
