My boiler failed last Sunday afternoon, the last day of January. An independent local engineer came on Monday and told me it was unfixable - as it was 20-30 years old and on the blink this wasn't too surprising. While he took his time to quote to replace it, South Thames responded really quickly, we agreed terms on Tuesday, I placed the order on Wednesday morning and on Friday morning their engineer came to install it. He did a neat job, decommissioned and disposed of the old boiler, and by mid afternoon Friday the new boiler was working perfectly, ahead of the cold snap which started today. I can't speak highly enough of this company's prompt and competent service. Strongly recommended.

My boiler failed overnight on Friday leaving me with no heating and my usual plumber unavailable weekends.
I found South Thames Plumbing on Checkatrade , called them , and was told to expect help within 2 hours. 90 minutes later Andrew appeared , fully covid-proofed. Friendy, courteous and efficient he not only diagnosed and fixed the problem within minutes but declined to accept payment. What more can I say - Andrew, thankyou, I think I've found myself a new plumber.

My boiler broke just before Christmas and the wonderful team here came to my rescue. Great service all round, I was kept up to date throughout with my new boiler fitted within a day. It's been working really well since, in fact, my house has never been warmer. Thanks so much Andrew and to Debbie for keeping me up to date all the way through!

Professional, quick and efficient service - My shower pump was leaking water into the floor below. Andrew came over at 9pm on Friday night to cap off the pipes and followed up the next day with the installation of a new pump. The quick response avoided further damage, and was very pleased with the level of service. Thanks Andrew!

Their response was immediate. Debbie arranged for Andrew to visit us to do a quote which we received the same evening and we accepted it.

Andrew and his team replaced an old boiler with a new one - that they recommended after visiting the property and seeing what was required. They were on time, efficient, courteous, and cleaned up after they finished. Would absolutely recommend.

Andrew replaced a blocked radiator and fitted a Magnaclean to protect the boiler. Very happy with the work done and that my house was left tidy with all rubbish removed.

A sudden loss of pressure in our heating system had me looking for help at short notice and I'm glad we found Andrew to solve the issue. The problem was bigger than initially hoped (namely a leak that proved difficult to find) but Andrew did his utmost to not only find and isolate it but to also come up with an elegant solution to a significant amount of (re)piping that was required. Communication/responsiveness, punctuality and general "problem-solving" abilities were strong, too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend STP&H to anyone in need of a good plumber. As we all know, there are a lot of cowboys in this industry, so it was a real relief to find someone so competent.

No sooner had I posted a request on Trustatrader than Andrew rang. There was no heating and a leaking radiator and he sent someone later the same day, which was amazing - we were so grateful. In fact, it turned out a new boiler pump was needed which took a few days to source. However, Andrew responded quickly every time we contacted him and kept us informed of progress from start to finish. I felt Andrew really did his very best to resolve the problem and the level of service and communication we received was fantastic. ( And rare these days) Well done Andrew! That's what service should be! Very pleased.

After struggling with boiler pressure dropping, then finding a leaking radiator Andrew fitted in a look very quickly as we were due snow and I had no heating or hot water. He ordered the boiler parts I needed and a new radiator and fitted at the earliest opportunity to get me up and running again in the cold weather. His communication was great, nothing was too much trouble to check or reply to my questions. Highly recommended for a professional and quick service. Thank you!
