I had problems with the sales rep assigned to my area (littleton). It took forever for him to get back with me, and then another long wait for the quote. The worst part was that the rep forgot to include bottom fascia on the order to the fabricators, so it didn't get installed. I then learned the true meaning of the term "glacial" trying to get the problem rectified. Every time I look at the kludge they had to install to get the job done, I'll think about my sales rep from Split Rail Fence. Oh, and I'm still waiting for my permit.

I was very impressed with how quickly Split Rail provided a quote when I started shopping around for a fence company. Then, I was pleased with how quick they were to install the fence once we closed on our house-very important to us as we have two dogs. Great quality and great price!

After a few years of me talking big about how I was going to repair the gate into our back yard (it was perhaps 16 years old), my wife called Split Rail Fence. She made all the arrangements and did not even mention it to me. A few Saturdays back I went into the back yard to get snow shovels out of the gardening shed and was stunned to see that we had a new gate! My wife smirked proudly and made a comment something to the effect that your guys built the gate in less time than I spent talked about fixing it. (Ouch.) Her description was that your guys were "seriously efficient." Trying to find something to complain about I poked around but could not find any cracked or knotty pieces of wood nor a single splinter or screw left behind where they worked. They left the area better than they found it. Your guys also built a gate that feels more sturdy and works much better than anything I could have put together. Great job, guys. Thanks!

This was a great experience. Not only did they do it faster than expected, they continually discussed options and prices with us and were concerned with making sure we got what we wanted and received a good value. It was almost weird because I'm so used to people trying to push a product that I don't want and in the end, the fence is beautiful and solid and exactly what we wanted. I will definitely use this company again, and I highly recommend it.

I have been using Split Rail for the last 20 years. Have always given me great service at a fair price.

just moved into longmont and needed a fence . saw a split rail sign on an existing fence that looked great. it was an easy and painless process.

They provided me with a quality product and professional installation. I would highly recommend them.

Shortly before we were closing on the sale of our house, someone ran through our fence. In addition, our back fence had been damaged by our neighbor's fence blowing into ours. Split Rail Fence was fixing my back fence for me when I asked if they could give me an estimate of what it would be to fix my front fence because we were too busy to fix it before the closing. The super said he would fix it for free while his crew was out. Took a huge burden off of us and was extremely kindhearted

My neighbor recommended them but I was skeptical after reading some reviews online. We decided to use them because our neighbor swore by their work and quality products. It was a flawless experience. Our fence looks great and they were able to finish it earlier than anticipated.

Once we had the fence up. we tried to get a hold of Ray our sales rep, and he has a hard time returning phone calls. We had and still have issues with the install. He said he would fix it ( this was 2 months ago ) and we have heard nothing back in return. This is what makes it hard to recommend Split Rail to friends and neighbors.

Just what you would expect. No hassle, reasonable price, and quality work. would definitely use them again.

excellent job on installing the new fence however the cleanup could be improved. The crew left post and old concrete in the yard

Split Rail started off fine. Prompt on an estimate for my project and their pricing was similar to other quotes I received. I checked the BBB and they had an A rating. So, I decided to go with this company. Once they received my 50% deposit...everything went downhill. My sales rep had a bad attitude and told me to stop calling him if I had questions. This was after he ordered the wrong fence (he did not call to apologize or update me....the secretary did!) When I called the main office, they were upset with me for not calling my sales rep. I can't win. The job was finished 2 months late. The workers came unprepared for the job...missing information, missing tools and missing fence parts!!!! If they did not have the correct color, they used spray paint to match the color. The installer gave me the extra spray paint for "touch-ups" down the road. Very kind of him. :/ The scheduling department tried their best. The workers themselves were nice guys....unfortunately, they work for a very disorganized and rude company that doesn't care about the residential "smaller jobs." Will never use again and do not recommend to others.

My original fence, installed by split rail, needed repair. It took an act of Congress to even get them to evaluate and give a bid. Salesman was disinterested in such a small job. Split Rail should not service residential customers. Estimated date of repair was 2 weeks out. I called after 3 weeks. Salesman said "it's not his job to follow up with crew". He did his job by submitting the work order. Great crew and fine workmanship. No one told me the fence would be down for 4 days. Terrible communication by the salesman. This poor attitude permeates the entire organization
