Usually end up visiting the shop in London as there's no decent Asian supermarkets near me but with no London trip coming up for a few months decided to order online. Received everything exactly as expected. Packaged so well nothing was broken, defrosted, or unusable. Will be ordering regularly online now. Only issue is having to rearrange the kitchen to fit everything in.

All glass products came not damaged and quite fast delivery. Thank you I will order again

Used a few times, things went ok until things were broken as shown in the photos. The customer service seemed very unprofessional and acted like it's all my fault. They did me a huge favour to refund me what the broken items cost. Shouldn't it all covered by delivery insurance from common senses? I got everything covered by the oil chilly which wasn't even my fault. what an attitude. Never again.

I ordered a lot of frozen products from starry mart and a lot of heavy (rice) non frozen products. I expected some of it to arrive broken. But starry mart have done such an amazing job with packaging that everything arrived in perfect condition and the frozen food was still fully frozen and probably colder than my actual freezer!

I can’t recommend them enough and I will be making many more orders!

I’ve been using Starry Mart about once a month for the past five months, and I’ve always had a great experience. Their service is reliable and the ordering process is easy. I was especially impressed this time because I placed an order yesterday and it was delivered today—super fast! Everything arrived as expected. I’m really happy with Starry Mart and will definitely continue using them.

I added items worth £11 to my cart but was shocked to see the delivery fee was £16 within the UK. That's a definite no from me!

Sept 25 card balance was £68.77 after shopping
Oct 4 - I shopped £5.01, card balance becomes £48.77

I should have £63.76 on the card!!!!!!

Your staff can't explain what happened and she can't even use the calculator to prove it correctly.

Great prices, the customer service is brilliant - Always reply to my emails or Instagram messages. Awesome selection of food- Especially noodles. This is my go to shop for online asian groceries every month. Highly recommend.

Good range of products but their website pricing is really quite annoying!
Constantly changing their prices and not for the better! When you return to your basket to complete and possibly check out to pay - it’s a completely different price

Keep your prices consistent and stop trying to catch people into paying higher

Starrymart offers me access to Asian cuisine and goods that I cannot get locally. The website is very clear about delivery charges and how to keep them to a minimum and their good always arrive perfectly packed and protected. I have nothing but praise for their service.

I've only purchased dry goods recently but I'm also delighted with their fresh/frozen service.
I wish I'd photographed the delivery box. Not an inch of space was wasted. Bottles were double wrapped and taped.
Plenty of packing, but soft bags of flours helped protect the vulnerable items.
I'm very impressed with StarryMart. It would be nice if inexperienced brits would review their items to help others learn which ingredients they need and how to use them.

Ordered a plushy, but it was apparently out of stock, but did not state that at the time. However, the order was not marked as Out of Stock, but dispatched.

£11 order in basket and delivery was £16?? and within the UK. Absolutely not!

Received my order today yes was slow to process it however take Christmas into consideration they likely have more orders to deal with however at some stage in the future I might adjust this review upon my second order in the future if time between ordering & delivery date is more efficient however disappointing expiration date but at least they have updated their site so buyers will be more aware in the future

Very slow to process order, very slow to dispatch!

I’d rather pay more to a competitor and get my good within a reasonable timeframe.

My favourite place to go for Thai/Chinese/Korean/Japanese produce. Huge selection, fresh baked goods which are *delicious*.

Prices are better than you get in Japan Centre and staff are lovely. It’s a must visit if you’re in town.

You know if it's a well run, good company or not by how they handle things when they go wrong. Well, Starry Mart is an awful company. Terrible customer service. Never received my parcel. No refund. Amazon claimed I "refused delivery" which I never did. Contacted customer service, which was like talking to a robot. Elizabeth basically sends you a copy and paste text saying "We have no control over the courier company or the delivery drivers."

They do NOT care if you receive your order or not.
They simply blame the unreliable courier service they choose to use and expect you to put up with it. On top of it all, they are very unclear about how and when about the refund process. Elizabeth ignores your email when you ask “when can I get a full refund?” ! Never had such a bad customer service before in all the years of online shopping.

I suspect positive reviews are written by family and friends. Notice how there is always immediately a five star review conveniently addressing the issues raised by a one star review. Wish I’d noticed this before ordering.

This was my first order here and I was a bit apprehensive after reading that items were arriving with short use by dates. I ordered 3 packs of ramen and rice cakes and the earliest use by is the end of April 2025 which was a huge relief and a lot longer than ramen I have ordered from Amazon that goes out of date within 6 weeks. A huge thank you to Elizabeth in the customer service team who responded to my query quickly and resolved my issue promptly - amazing customer service! This company is fab and I will be shopping here again
