Had my class b for 6 years and finally made the move to class a. they focused on what i actually needed instead of wasting time on stuff i already knew. combo vehicle practice took a bit but the instructor was clear and kept things simple. passed the test and got onto better paying routes within 2 weeks

I was a stay at home mom for almost 8 years and finally decided it was time to get back to work and earn real money. my neighbor drives trucks and kept telling me how good the pay is so i looked into it. found start cdl and just walked in one day to ask questions. staff was friendly and not pushy at all. did the theory online late at night after kids went to sleep which made it so much easier to manage. finished the driving part in about 3 weeks and already have two job interviews lined up. best decision i made for myself in a long time

Called at least 4 different schools before picking start cdl. some couldnt give straight answers on pricing and others had sketchy reviews online. start cdl was upfront about costs from day one and the training matched exactly what they promised. passed my test without a second attempt. happy with the choice overall

I recently completed my CDL Class A training at START CDL School and passed my MVC CDL road test on the first try.

What impressed me most about START CDL School was how closely they prepared students for the actual test. The instructors taught us exactly what to say during the pre-trip inspection and air brake test, and they had the training yard set up to match the testing environment. They also took us on the same roads and routes commonly used during the road test, which helped me feel comfortable and confident on test day.

The training program is designed to help students succeed. If you attend class, follow their instructions, practice, and study the way they recommend, you will be very well prepared for the exam.

I would especially like to thank Nataliya. She went above and beyond to help keep me on track throughout the program. I told her I needed a little extra motivation and accountability, and she made it a point to call me every Friday afternoon to schedule my training sessions for the following week. That level of personal attention and encouragement made a huge difference and helped me stay focused on reaching my goal.

At first, there were occasional language barriers, but everyone was patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted their students to succeed. As I got to know the staff, I found them to be very supportive and dedicated to helping students pass.

I’ll be honest—I wasn’t always the most focused student in the beginning. I had a lot going on in my personal life and wasn’t always studying as much as I should have. But once I started focusing on myself and my future, everything began to click. With the support of the instructors, Viktor, Vlad, Uladzislau and Roman and the encouragement of my best friend who studied with me and and a lot of practice, I was able to earn my CDL Class A license and pass my test on the first attempt.

Thank you to Natalyia and the entire START CDL School team for helping me begin this new chapter in my career. I highly recommend START CDL School to anyone who is serious about earning their CDL and wants training that truly prepares them for the real test.

Took the ELDT theory online and then did the practical in NJ. the trucks were decent., my instructor Mike was patient which helped a lot because i was nervous. price was fair compared to other places i called. good school overall just make sure you study for the permit first

I highly recommend this CDL school. The instructors provide excellent guidance and all the necessary resources to help you pass in just a few weeks. The trucks are modern, well-maintained, and there are enough of them for every student to get plenty of practice time.

The school also provides helpful videos and a lot of useful study information, which made learning much easier. Everything we were taught matched exactly with what was on the exam, so I felt fully prepared and confident.

The instructors explain maneuvers clearly, and the pre-trip inspection lessons are very well structured and easy to follow. Overall, it was an awesome experience, and I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to get their CDL.

I have to say that from start to finish they helped In every way from the women in the office to all of the instructors they really made me feel comfortable and they are willing to help one on one every day if needed. I was able to do this at my own pace. They will not let you test until they know you are ready. This was a very good experience all the way across the board. I'll recommend them to everyone I know that wants there cdl.
