I paid $90 for an outfit that never arrived.

I ordered a dress for a wedding; they sent a dress from Shein. It was such terrible quality, I was shocked. I requested to return the dress; they would not let me return it, and they would not give me a refund. I went back and forth via email 10 times before I settled for 50% of the purchase price and then NEVER received the refund! I have emailed multiple times with no answer.

I ordered a dress from Stella and Grace Dresses after digging up info. that this store is based in Columbus, OH. Then I receive tracking info that my dress is coming from China. It took several weeks to arrive. I tried it on that day and deemed it NOT fit for nieces wedding. I emailed the company and told them of my concerns-even sent pictures showing what was unacceptable. They offered me a 10% refund to keep it. Days later it became a 20%, then 35%, and finally 50% refund if I would just keep it. Figuring out how much it would cost to mail it TO CHINA, I decided to cut my losses with 50% refunded. That was June 22, 2026. I have still NOT received a dime back from them. They are a COMPLETE SCAM!!

The product represented is not what was received. Trying to resolve the issue has been impossible. These two sisters are scheisters!!

I have gone back and forth with this company over emails because they don’t want to refund the total amount and have me send the dress back. The dress did not fit correctly but they don’t want you to return so they’ll haggle over how much refund to give you. I only got 25% back and I keep the dress even tho it doesn’t fit… what a waste!

The quality of dress is poor and not the same as the dress photos.

The dress did not fit so I requested a return/refund. First company asked for photos. Then, offered 10% return on cost, after repeated requests, up to 50%.

In an effort to not accept a return, they did offer a Chinese return address (along with tarif threats and description to discourage shipping back). Dress was shipped domestically from Chicago.

I also suspect an AI bot replying and not actual human.

Do not purchase from this vendor.

I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from Stella & Grace to think twice.
The dress I received was of extremely poor quality. It looked cheap and poorly made, and it did not meet my expectations at all.

What made the experience even worse was the return process. From the moment I requested a return, the company repeatedly tried to convince me to keep the dress by offering 10%, 20%, 25% and 40% money back instead of simply processing my return request. I clearly stated multiple times that I did not want a partial refund and did not want to keep the item.

Despite this, they delayed the process, did not provide a prepaid return label, did not provide a return address, and were slow to respond to emails. A simple return turned into a frustrating and time-consuming experience.

If you are shopping online, be aware that the quality may not match the photos and that returning an item may be far more difficult than expected.

Very disappointing experience.

Do NOT confuse this website with the highly reputable, physical "Stella & Grace" boutiques operating brick-and-mortar storefronts in Pennsylvania, Ohio, or Louisiana. This online-only site is a completely separate, low-quality operation.

After exploring their website, which appeared legitimate, well done interface, markings of secure purchasing, even an "Our Story" area which all made me feel secure enough to make a purchase on their website, but what arrived and actions that followed was a massive disappointment.

The Issues:
Deceptive Product Quality: The items look structured and well-made online, but the actual garments are incredibly poorly constructed. The cuts are awkward and do not fit properly.

Subpar Textiles: The fabrics used are cheap, synthetic, and feel awful against the skin. They are a far cry from the quality materials implied by the boutique's marketing images.

Hidden Return Policy & AI Tactics: The most frustrating part of this company is the complete lack of clarity and transparency surrounding their return policy. When you try to initiate a legitimate return, you are forced to interact with heavily automated, AI-driven customer service.

The Customer Service Runaround
Their "365 day Hassle Free Returns" never mentions you will only receive a partial return. Instead of honoring a standard return, their customer service relies on script-driven stalling tactics to protect their profit margins. When I reached out:

They first tried to lock me into a meager 20% partial refund to just keep the items.

When I refused and demanded a 100% refund, they pushed back and countered with a 40% "maximum" offer.

They use polite, bot-generated language to pretend they care, but their actual goal is to aggressively haggle with disappointed customers so they don't have to process a real return. The photos are a mirage, the textiles are incredibly cheap, and the return process is a trap. Save your time and money—avoid this site entirely.

Total scam!! Don’t order anything from them!! Very poor quality and no customer service!! Trying to return the dress and everyday I am receiving the same email!! So far nothing is resolved. TOTAL SCAM!!!
The worst part, they make you believe that the company is here in the US. But obviously not!

Complete scam. The dresses are garbage, and they make you email them 10 times to even receive the address to return dresses to, paying your own shipping.

In the meantime, they say as a "token of goodwill" they are willing to give you 10% of the value of the dress if you keep it. Stay away!

Dress is not good quality and I can not get anyone to help with the return, they just keep telling me I can return it but with no additional detail. They offered a 10% refund which is nothing. Do NOT purchase from this site.

Dresses are HORRIBLE quality -- they look like something that would show up in a kid's dress-up bin. Attempting to return them has been a nightmare. Despite asking for a full refund and the address for return, I continue to receive emails back offering a 10%, then 20%, then 25% automatic refund. Do NOT purchase their dresses!

TOTAL SCAM OPERATION... Ordered a GREEN dress with obviously EMBROIDERED floral pattern off the impressive website. What arrived several weeks later was a thin, cheap-looking dress that was clearly marked GREY on the package. And, the "embroidery" instead was a poor screen print - nothing like the photographs on the website at all. Attempted to return per their stated policy, but were met with a continuous stream of emails with NO RETURN ADDRESS/INFORMATION...and a progressive offering of a refund of 10%, 20%, 25% (said to be the "most our management would allow") and finally 40% if we avoided the return and kept the item. Eventually were given a return address in CHINA and learned it was going to cost over $50 to send it back. Rather than spend that much, and gamble that we'd ever see any kind of refund, gave up and donated the "dress" to a local charity. Live and learn!

I ordered a $70 dress for a wedding. The dress came and the quality is extremely poor. You can see stitching along the arms and bottom, no hem work. The front neck line also shows stitching. The fabric is horrible. The dress looks as cheep as it's made. I immediately requested to return it and the company is playing hard ball, only offering 20% of my money back. It's absolutely horrible. Don't purchase from them. It's a waste of money and time! Shame

Dress was listed as linen and it is not. It is some type of polyester and gaps open in the front with no way to keep it closed. I have been trying for 5 days to get a refund and they keep offering me a 5 or 10 percent partial refund and to keep the dress. I have stated several times I do not want a partial refund and want to return the dress for the full refund stated on their return policy. Although they respond quickly to my emails, as of today I have emailed them 6 times with to get the refund and still have not resolved this issue.

Dress looked very cheap, very flimsy. Company stated returns accepted within 30 days, but have had very difficult time arranging for dress to be returned. Don't order from this company!
