1 star is too high
1 star is too high. I'd go anywhere else other than with this company. In fact, I'd pay the money that they are refusing to refund (negating their policy) to not use them. Disgraceful, embarrassing service. Avoid completely. 0/10. Pathetic and useless.

Don't buy from them - The shoes are counterfeit
Steptosport's business model is to mimic sellers who resell old/discontinued lines of trainers at a discount. However, they supply counterfeit trainers rather than the genuine item (as other reviewers have pointed out). If you have bought from them: a simple way to tell if a running shoe is counterfeit is to check the weight. I bought a pair of Nike Alphafly 3s... Google/Nike tells me the shoe should weigh about 218g; the shoe sent weighed 297g. There were other telltale signs (the foam is much firmer than that of a genuine shoe); however the counterfeit was of a pretty high quality, and not immediately recognisable as such. For fashoin wear it'd probably be ok... running a marathon, not so much!
I would note that when I challenged them with evidence (photo of weight of shoe plus link to official weight), they refunded my money immediately. Clearly enough people don't realise until too late (at all?) that what they've bought is a fake to support this business model.
As always, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. (They really have *all those sizes* available? at 50% cheaper than original retail??) And check Trustpilot before you buy (as I should have done!)

Scam
Scam. No delivery. Then countless emails with excuses and nonsense. Then state in email shoes are fake and they manufacture them!! Offered a refund but then they didn’t honour it.

DO NOT BUY SCAM
DO NOT BUY. They are selling fake shoes. I bought a pair of Nike alphaflys and had them checked by a verification company and they are fakes. They also took ages to send it and said they are unable to process refunds. Absolute scam.

Bought a pair of trainers and when they…
Bought a pair of trainers and when they arrived they were clearly fake with the smell of rubber and white marks all over the rubber soles. Have emailed back to company for a refund as they where not stated as being fake copies but so far no response or no address to return them too.

Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs. They are completely useless. Ordered football boots that said were in transit for over 3 weeks. I then get an email to say my order was refunded but yet no payment has reached my account. These scamming rats don’t deserve the 1 star review provided but giving 0 stars isn’t an option.

Do not purchase! SCAM website
Nothing arrived after waiting several weeks, told it was lost, I asked for a refund and was refused and told they will send me a replacement which will take a few more weeks to arrive. Saw the many reviews left by others saying they were scammed and received no items, so thankfully as I paid by paypal, they were able to get a refund for me as they could see on their end there was no shipping action for several weeks on the company’s end after they received payment. Would warn others to stay away from this website as it seems they scam people.

Thank you for taking the time to share what happened - I'm really sorry you went through such a frustrating experience. Waiting that long with no clear updates would leave anyone disappointed, and I can see why you felt uneasy after reading other reviews.
I want to reassure you that we take situations like this very seriously. When an order shows no movement for an extended period, it usually points to a carrier handling issue rather than intentional neglect, and it's exactly the kind of thing we want to catch and correct quickly. Your feedback helps us strengthen those checks so no one else has to feel the same uncertainly.
If you're open to it, I'd be glad to take a closer look at your specific order and make sure everything on our end is fully understood and addressed. Just share the order number or the email used at checkout, and I'll make sure you get clear information without any more back-and-forth.
Again, I truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and I'm here to help however you need.
Don’t buy from this company
Don’t buy from this company. The site does not state that these trainers are copies. They reply to emails and assure you they are refunding you etc… then no refund comes. I have now had to dispute with my bank. More hassle than it’s worth. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Thank you for sharing your experience - I'm really sorry it left you feeling misled and exhausted. No one should have to go through that much back-and-forth just to get clarity about an order, and I understand why you're upset.
I do want to reassure you that our products and policies are never meant to create confusion. When something doesn't move the way it should or communication feels unclear, that's on us to fix, and your feedback helps point out where we need to do better.
If you're open to it, I'd like to take a closer look at your case personally so you at least get a clear explanation of what happened on our end. Just share the email or order number you used, and I'll go through everything step by step.
Thank you again for taking the time to speak up - even when the experience has been disappointing. I'm here to make sure you get straight answers.

I want to reassure you that we take feedback like this very seriously. The quality concerns you mentioned, especially the smell and your difficulty reaching us by phone, are not the experience we want anyone to have. When something goes wrong at any part of the process, it's our responsibility to look into it and give you clear, honest ansers.
If you're willing, I'd like to review your case directly so we can understand exactly what happened with your order. Just share the email or order number you used, and I'll personally check every detail - product, handling, and all communication points - so you get a full explanation instead of feeling left in the dark.
Thank you for voicing your concerns, even though the situation has been so frustrating. I'm here to help you clarity.

Man City
come on they did not even have the sense to use names that look genuine.
Added Later date: I see you have taken all the fake 5 star reviews down since I pointed out how stupid they looked with the names you used and the fact they were all posted around the same time and said the same thing.
Why do payments go to a paypal account in the name of Tran Thanh Thuy. And not to a company ?

I can hear how strongly you feel about this, and I'm really sorry your experience brought you to this point. When something arrives and doesn't match what you were expecting, it's natural to feel misled - and reading reviews that don't feel authentic only adds to that frustration. Anyone in your position would be upset.

I'm really sorry to hear how long you've been waiting - going from April to June with no clear update would leave anyone feeling ignored and completely fed up. I can understand why you're upset and why you'd feel the need to warn others when your experience hasn't felt right at all.

If you can share the email or order number you used when placing the order, I'll look into it immediately and check what happened with your shipment and the communication on our side.
