I’m extremely disappointed with this…

I’m extremely disappointed with this purchase. I bought a pair of earrings for my daughter and after only three days of normal wear, they broke. Because of the poor quality, she ended up losing one of them.

When I contacted Net-a-Porter to explain that the item was clearly faulty, they refused to offer a refund or replacement. For a company that positions itself as a luxury retailer with high standards, this level of product quality and customer service is unacceptable.

I expected much better durability and support, especially given the price point. I won’t be purchasing jewellery from here again and would advise others to be cautious.

Boucles d'oreilles achetées plus de 600 €.
Après 1 mois les 2 papillons se sont cassés en petits morceaux, de sorte que j'ai perdu une boucle.
Ayant voulu mettre l'autre seule (avec un nouveau papillon), la boucle d'oreille s'est cassée en 2 juste quand je l'ai prise en mains.
Tout cela moins de 2 mois après l'achat. Ce n'est pas de l'usure...
A déconseiller absolument, n'achetez jamais cette marque

Expensive junk

I bought an id bracelet for 500 and change and it took almost a month to receive , supposedly because they had to engrave it special which consisted of 6 letters. Anyway after terrible customer service to see where the hell my 522 bracelet was, I filed a chargeback with my bank thinking I got scammed. The day of I received it and I couldn’t be more disappointed at how junky it looked. Completely smudged across the front and the clasp is so flimsy it broke the second day. For the price it should’ve been 100 bucks at that. I contacted customer service to issue a refund and removed the charge back . I was quickly emailed back that time telling me it was final sale since it was engraved , even though it was broken in two days. I could send it for repair like it’s not gonna just break again with the cheap hook . I’ve bought a few gifts from here but I would never shop here again and regret removing the charge back

I'm never ordering from stone and…

I'm never ordering from stone and strand again. I've ordered a few items, and none of them meet the expectations shown in the photo. I order from them again because I see them recommended on IG. I ordered a flat-back non-returnable earring to find out I have to bend the post MYSELF! I wear a lot of flat-back earrings and this the ONLY time I have to bend it myself. I'm sure this is why they make it non-returnable. I'm sure a lot of people have broken their earring when trying to bend. This is also probably why they dont have reviews on the site.

The WORST experience I have ever had

The WORST experience I have ever had. I ordered my items weeks before Christmas to ensure they would arrive, two days before Xmas, nothing was here and the order appeared as fullfilled. They didnt answer emails until the very last second and I never got anything. This is just fraudulent, absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Necklace literally broke within 6 months and numerous email sent to them without response.

Will not purchase from them again!!!

Un scandale !

Un scandale !! J’ai acheté un pendentif en diamant (315€) sur net a porter. au bout de 6mois il a perdu des diamants.
Net a porter ne veut rien entendre, et m’accuse de l’avoir cassé moi (oui bien sûr j’ai décollé moi même le diamant) ! N’achetez pas chez eux, la qualité n’est PAS DU TOUT au rendez vous

I found a coupon for 30% off

I found a coupon for 30% off. It worked when I entered the coupon code and then I paid. THEY CHARGED ME THE FULL AMOUNT! They charged a different amount than what was shown! I contacted them, and instead of honoring this amount they cancelled my order. I even sent a screenshot of the total. So disingenuous.

Simply terrible

Simply terrible! My husband gifted me a pair of earrings from Stone & Strand the price was over $600 and in less than a year one earring is completely broken and 2 diamonds have fallen off. I am so disappointed. I would not recommend this company to anyone

I Was Scammed

I bought a necklace last year on their website. The address that showed after my purchase was different than what I put in, but I notified them pretty quickly in order to try re-routing it. They told me they couldn't, which was strange, then I was told that it was sent to a parcel locker. I went to the locker and nothing was there. I tried to contact them about it, but their replies did not make sense. They kept telling me to go back to the locker, which I did 3 times before I gave up and went to try to void it with the bank. Stone and Strand have been refusing to give me my money back for a year because they are claiming I said it was damaged when I have consistently said I never got it. For that reason, I'm being told that MY story is inconsistent, so no matter how many times I try voiding the charge, the bank sides with them. I don't have the necklace and I don't have my money back either. I should have never tried to buy anything from them.

Brought a stone and strand necklace…

Brought a stone and strand necklace (£125) from net a porter, less than 6 months later the necklace has broken.

Contacted net a porter who have been rude, unhelpful and accused me of breaking it and suggesting I get it repaired myself

After reading similar experiences I wanted to make mine know too

A Mixed Bag

I'll be another person to say I wish I had read the reviews...
But wait, if you've just opened a Stone and Strand box, DO NOT REMOVE THE WHITE TAG from any of your pieces. They call that a "security tag" which means if you pull it, you've bought it.

But on to my pieces. I was very excited about my little North Star earring, despite its genuinely tiny size, until I wore it for a few days and I reacted at the site of the piercing. It's probably my fault, since it's very clearly a 10k Gold piece. But I worry, since most manufacturers mix with sterling, which doesn't give me trouble. So just a heads up on that.

I was dumb enough to remove the tag from my pearl gold Huggies. And truthfully, I'm not too sad. They're super cute, which I appreciate, since they're a serious splurge for me. I'm hoping they hold up; they look very nice for now.

Lastly, about the drop pearl necklace that I had been so excited to receive, and that I had been looking forward to wearing for many years, even in my enthusiasm I stopped when I saw it and said, wait a minute, what the heck. The pearl is lovely, but the chain is so small as to be gossamer thin. I didn't want to pick it up. Which I didn't. I closed the box, and spent a restless night struggling with feelings of frustration and confusion. "But it looked so nice in the pictures!" Which is what ultimately prompted me to read further into the company.

I am now going to return the necklace. Wear the pearl earrings, carefully, and wear the North Star for a few hours, for special.

In general, my experience with the S&S quality level was so/so. I liked what I liked, and felt real disappointment about other pieces.

Another poor review

Another poor review. I ordered a necklace through net a porter for around £250. This snapped in less than a year. When I went to net a porter they told me it was my own fault when clearly it is because the necklace is of poor quality. Please think twice before buying from this brand.

UPDATE: 26/06/24 - I have now emailed the email given & waiting on a response.

Terrible experience and left disappointed

Ordered a stone and strand necklace via net-a-Porter at the cost of £260. I was so careful with it, but one day while taking it off it fell apart in my hands in multiple places. I contacted net-a-Porter and got the rudest response claiming it was my fault without even asking what happened. Now need to repair at my own cost. So livid

Will not buy from them again. Cheap quality, flimsy.

I ordered an initial necklace with a diamond. It was over $200 and I was so disappointed - it looked so cheap. The chain looked like it cost $5 and definitely did not feel sturdy/like it would stand up to everyday wear. I returned for a refund but did not hear anything after my return had been delivered back to them (which I could see from the tracking). I had to post comments on their Instagram feed in order to get someone to respond to me. That worked and I was refunded right away. I won't ever buy from this website again. There are many other sites with jewelry at around the same price but MUCH higher quality. (BabyGold, Mejuri, Catbird, and Oradina are all much better in my opinion.)

Be Leary

I wish that I had looked at the reviews before I purchased an item. The store has now had my return for 22 days and has yet to send an email saying their processing the refund or refunding the charge. The customer service is terrible. They don't answer their phone even during "business hours". So disappointing.

Worst customer service

The pieces are beautiful but the customer service is insanely bad. They take so long to respond and did not seem to care about my issue at all.

For the price of their jewellery and their claim of being a sustainable and ethical company, they do not care about their customers at all.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM

I have never written a review before, but I would rate this company 0 stars if I could. At this point, I think it is a scam. I ordered two necklaces, one was $495 and a gift for my mom's birthday. Conveniently, they sent me the wrong item for the necklace instead of the $495 one. When I reached out about this issue, the first person I spoke to told me that I should send back the incorrect item I received and they would send me the item I initially ordered and gave me 20% off my next order.

I reached back out for next steps and was met with a different customer service person who told me this would be a "one time exception" (even though I didn't do anything wrong and the company made the mistake). I sent back the item and did not hear back. I tracked the item and saw that it was delivered at their facilities and have sent countless emails about when the item I purchased will be sent to me... still have not heard back. I tried calling and went straight to voicemail saying they were "closed" even though the time I called was within business hours.

I think I got completely ripped off and will never see my $495 again or the necklace I initially purchased. I am still waiting to hear back a week later and have had no resolve with this issue. AVOID THIS COMPANY at all costs. I will never purchase again or recommend to anyone.
