Absolutely horrible service !! I have been a customer for a while , most of my purchases were online before this store opened , when they opened the store I started my shopping there . They treated us so poorly like we were there rob the place . They asked us repeatedly if we needed something meaning like “ what are you doing here “ . They are not friendly at all to us minorities. The area itself is filled with very snobby people . The quality of these bags are not even worth it at all . They wash terribly. I would rather invest in coach or Kate Spade . Way better quality!

I was severed by a creepy man with a ponytail/ bald head and he didn’t care for his customers but more about MONEY!!He has no shame and doesn’t back his product,Even though the product means more to the people than he could ever imagine !! hope he and his family remove his store from Manchester and takes his greedy family with him!!! 🔰

A total waste of $200 !!! I ordered a jumbo fanny pack. The bag has a cheap feel to it. The buckle weights more than the whole bag (VERY HEAVY). The color has faded splotches on it. The patch is sewn on by UNmatching thread. white on yellow, really, and they charged $25 extra to sew it on like that. Sad.. And the patch isn't even the correct color. instead of white it's a dirty cream off white. Looks flat out CHEAP, like I got it at the dollar tree. So unhappy. Will never purchase another one. Please order with LOW expectations. Hopefully you won't be so let down like I was.

I have had nothing but great experiences with stoney clover lane. Some of the reviews on here don’t even seem to be about scl? Weird. I have purchased several bags from them, all great. Double nylon is a good material to use. The only thing i think they should up the quality on is the faux leather accents. I did have a problem with a fanny pack that had an ink stain upon arrival but i contacted customer service through their website and they got back to me super quick, sent me a prepaid shipping label, and are sending me a replacement.
So my experience with customer service was very good. Are the prices a little high for what you get? Yeah. However the nylon itself is comparable to lesportsac which has a similar price range (though id say maybe lesportsac has better zippers). Overall I love stoney clover lane and they always have the cutest collabs especially the disney stuff. I just wish they would limit how much you can buy on collabs because resellers grab up everything then list on ebay and mercari for insane amounts. It would be awesome if they put a store in at disney springs!

After spending thousands in both Newport and Nashville stores, we made the mistake of preordering a backpack with delivery date of July 25th. It arrived when we on vacation July 16th. We tried to return the. item and received no help from customer service. The emails were insulting at best. Also no ability to return online items in store. Lost us as customers!
Terrible Customer Service
If I could give negative stars I would. Worst customer service ever. My almost 80 year mother who doesn’t have much money “splurged” to buy my daughter (her granddaughter) a bag for her 16th bday. She mistakenly selected the wrong one and tried to return it and buy the right one. With my help she followed the instructions and emailed customer service the very day the wrong bag came, well within the 7 day return policy. She emailed and called many more times and they never responded. I even went to the Nashville store location to get their help but they said online orders separate and nothing they could do. Absolutely horrendous and I will share this on social media and everywhere I can to warn people not to shop here. SCL could not care less about making customers happy. It’s all about the money and for a cheaply made product. Yuck.

Zipper on my overnight bag broke 6 months after I purchased it and I called to see what could be done. No one ever called me back. Very disappointed that they weren’t willing to help me. I would have paid for a new zipper but the poor customer service will have me not returning.

Some of these reviews were getting posted in the company facebook group we all follow so I wanted to take a minute to come on here and say that I truly have had nothing but wonderful experiences with SCL online customer service. I think a lot of these customers have an entitled way about them and when the company doesn’t fix something that isn’t even their fault- they freak out! Every issue i’ve had (that’s actually an issue) they have taken care of with pleasure and the online customer service rep I deal with (Hannah) is always lovely.
Never again- run, don’t walk away from this company

I am 12 years old and I have been saving up for the backpack of my dreams for 2 years and when i got to use it for the first time the zipper broke!!! This affected me because my phone, $100 bill and my homework fell out. I am so upset. I've called the store and no one will help me fix it.:( I am really sad and wished better for my backpack:(.

I can't believe I never read all of these terrible reviews before I bought something! This is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The quality of the items is NOT good- very very expensive and doesn't last long at all. I have been trying to get my daughter's $350 backpack zipper fixed and I can't even get customer service on the phone or to respond. I can't get a person on the phone, no one will respond, I call a store and they said they can't handle online items. DON'T EVER BUY ANYTHING HERE:(((

Customer service so disappointing. They placed patches all spread out over bag and said that’s how I personalized it but how can you personalize something on a computer screen without any rulers to measure if it’s centered or anything?! I said I would pay for new patches and everything if they could adjust and they said no but they could offer 15% off for me to purchase another $200 bag. Just use caution when using this company especially if ordering something personalized. I will not be purchasing any of their products again. Such a shame they can’t be more customer friendly but the more I talk about this the more I hear and it seems like a lot of people are beginning to feel this way with their experiences as well.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. Spent over $100 for a non-customized backpack for a Christmas gift. It was too big - went to return it and the return policy is 7 days within arrival - for a gift!!! No response to multiple chat requests and emails. STAY AWAY
