Needs A bit more Availability
It was convenient, they had a cheap offer.
What was bad was, although our last day fell on the weekend and when we went to collect it, we were locked out. And no one was reachable over the weekend which caused a lot of inconvenience. Next Monday they did allow us to collect, but we had to pay for an extra day. They did give us a free courtesy van for the items though, so I didn't have to pay the movers again (they were to pickup on the weekend). So beware that even if you inform them you are taking things out on a Saturday, they won't be around and you will be locked out.

Outstanding Resolution Services
My need for storage at Smithfield NSW rose out of an emergency.
When I contacted the Manager of Storage King Smithfield NSW, ALL my issues and problems were resolved within 1 hour of my initial contact with the Manager. Efficient, helpful and “user friendly” are some of the words that come to mind with regards to Management at Smithfield site.

George was absolutely kind and funny with everyone especially my 2 boys, everything was smooth and the compassion and patience he had with me due to my slight disability walking, i was very happy, such a rare experience, as now days everyone is in a hurry, but not here!

You won't get better service anywhere!!!
George was so patient and understanding. He had a smile on his face the whole time he was serving us . We were offered water as soon as we arrived as it was a extremely hot day and then when our delivery guys showed up he also took water up for them.
Even when we realised our furniture wouldn't fit in the unit we hired and had to change to a bigger unit, 10 minutes before he was closing , George couldn't have been more helpful . He treated us like we were guests in his home.

Storage is so expensive for a little storage unit…
Storage is so expensive for a little block advertising for 180 a month …staff member at the front desk was rude to me and don’t know how to talk to customer!!! Bloody Colombian or Argentinian staff background !!! Worst storage king …I used to get $200 for 3 months in Blacktown storage king with truck to move items that came for free!!!! Don’t bother getting a storage in Smithfield…they’re rude and not worth your time…my experience happened on Wednesday 27th November 2024
