all'inizio mettendo MacOS Monterey era tutto perfetto, dopo ho provato Mojave e si è inventato che il file era corrotto e dopo con Ventura non potevo selezionare la regione perchè c'era la rotellina che girava all'infinito e dopo diceva che era corrotto pure questo, è un baraccone

I have been running VMWare Fusion for 14 years on various MacBooks. I have just upgraded to a Macbook Air running on the Apple M5 chip and VMWare does not work:
- Files cant be shared as seamlessly as they were on previous versions
- I have not managed to configure an internet connection in the Windows environment
- Resolving these issues via Broadcom support seems completely impossible.

These were not issues previously. VMWare is not keeping up with the developments at Apple.

My solution...Ive installed Parallels (at a cost) but the installation was seamless.

The product itself, ESXi, is outstanding cant fault it, very robust, minimal footprint, easy to install, easy to use. v8 onwards with Web Interface makes it easier.
Unfortunately in come Broadcom and the money men and totally ruin the entire eco system, Its a shame something that, rightfully, dominated the market has come to this.

Malheureusement, je ne peux qu'aller dans le sens des commentaires négatifs. Le site de Broadcom n'est absolument pas navigable. Pour la connexion, l'inscription, la gestion du profil, c'est une véritable farce. Les fonctionnalités ne sont même pas testés. J'ai un tiret sur mon prénom et sur des formulaires préremplis, le formulaire m'indique que les tirets ne sont pas pris en charge alors qu'il a été complété automatiquement et impossible de le modifier car c'est grisé. Plein de petites choses qui ne donnent pas envie d'utiliser leur produit et de partir chez la concurrence. Même leur formulaire d'assistance part en erreur donc en cas de problème, pas de problème pour eux car on ne peut rien leur envoyer. Les moyens pour les contacter ne permet pas de les joindre directement mis à part par téléphone. Je ne vois aucun mail pour les contacter pour leur signaler quoi que ce soit. Franchement déçu depuis le rachat de VMWARE par BROADCOM. Les politiques tarifaires et les gros changement sur les sites web rendent l'expérience plus que mauvais et même désagréable.
Sinon les produits de VMWARE sont juste géniaux mais le rachat a des conséquences désastreuses pour les clients. Workstation pro et vSphere faisaient parti des produits que j'aimais utiliser et encore aujourd'hui. Maintenant, ils sont très peu accessibles et je suis obligé de me rabattre sur d'autres solutions qui fonctionnent tout aussi bien et en open source.

Since Broadcom it's now impossible to use VMware products. The company is just being used to leverage cash from existing users.

No longer able to login and download the software I have bought. Customer support is a chat bot and no help whatsever.. Scam company avoid!!!

VMware seems to have lost it for Mac. I used it 5 or 6 years ago on a Mac and it was fine, but now???
I UI is so totally unresponsive, I RDP to the VM.
It is SOOO hard to work with.

I have emailed the several times about this, and each new version or fix I hope it will be better but, nope. For what I have seen, they just don't care about Mac anymore.

This is on an Intel Mac.
I am going back to VBOX, which is free and works much much better.

Since they have been acquired by broadcom, Vmware is only producing bad news. The new license model means that prices are increasing and existing products can‘t be upgraded anymore. The money I spent for Vsphere licenses is now completely lost, because upgrades are far too expensive now. Be careful: They are not trustworthy as a partner, the new owner changes whatever the feel it might generate more money without caring about the customers. I heard that big (>10k employees) organisations started to evaluate alternatives, Vsphere will most probably lose importance in the upcoming years. Unreliable owner, a product which will lose it‘s user base - definitely not a tool one should use this days.

Customer support non-existent.
Tried to fill a form on their website but havent heard back.
Trying to call them on a support number, so fare 38min waiting. nothing tells if there any waiting in front of me.
Same music loop while on hold, freaking annoying.

I am trying to buy Fusion for Mac but there is no way to ask any questions without your inside leg measurement being made public! I only have simple questions I want answered before I buy their precious licenses and then maybe a little tech. support when I try to use it. But no....pathetic, I have to join their community, no doubt full of others desperate for some sort of help and then relying on the technical abilities of others who have managed to fudge it through ...there's no way this sort of aloofness would happen in the UK, let's hope California falls into the ocean! I guess our company will have to buy PC's and do it that way

I have used their software at companies I have contracted for previously and find it works well, however try to make contact with them to buy it and you're wasting your time.
It's hard to locate a phone number from their website and when I finally found one you're on call waiting forever, I did manage to leave a message one of the days I called, (it doesn't always work) and the message said they would call me back but they never did. this was the sales number so if you can't make contact with the sales team what hope do you have on talking to someone if you have an issue. Such good software completely let down by customer services. One of those companies you absolutely dread having to contact. You know the ones!
