ATTENTION FOR ABROAD STUDY SEEKERS
(REVIEW SHARED BY A STUDENT WHO TOOK CONSULTANCY FROM INSIGHT — AND IS NOW LIVING IN CANADA, WITH BACK-OFFICE EXPERIENCE)

Over the course of my interaction with Insight Education Consultancy, Jaipur, I encountered significant issues that I believe prospective applicants should be aware of. In January 2023, I paid Insight for assistance with my TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) Extension. Unfortunately, the consultant assigned to my case lacked accurate knowledge of the process and advised me to apply for a study permit extension from within Canada, a pathway that does not include visa stamping requirements.

This incorrect guidance resulted in my visa extension being rejected. Consequently, I lost both the consultancy fee paid to Insight and the IRCC application fee. Ultimately, I had to handle the process independently, through which I successfully obtained my visa extension.

When I raised my concerns and requested a refund for the losses caused by their misdirection, I received no concrete resolution. Over the last two years, Insight has been largely unresponsive—occasionally answering calls but offering no accountability. They shifted the responsibility to KC Overseas Education, claiming that the instructions came from their backend team.

Given this experience, I want to caution future applicants—especially those applying for Canada, where the immigration process is now extremely stringent. Even a minor error can have long-term consequences on your profile, and in my case, the misinformation from Insight and KC Overseas resulted in unnecessary financial and emotional strain.

Despite these issues, I would like to acknowledge that Insight’s IELTS coaching, led by Kritika Mam, was excellent and remains a service I can genuinely recommend.

My intention in sharing this detailed account is to help other aspirants make informed decisions and to highlight the need for accountability and professionalism in the consultancy process.

I had a great experience with KC Consultancy Overseas. With the guidance of Vipin Sir and the support of the entire team, I successfully got admitted to the University of Bristol. They helped me a lot in searching for the right university and guided me through every step of the process with patience and professionalism. I am truly grateful for their support and highly recommend them to anyone planning to study abroad.

I had a very disappointing experience with KC Overseas, specifically with my agent Shikha. She was supposed to help me with my UK study visa application, but instead created endless problems.

Firstly, she was absolutely not knowledgeable about the process and her poor English made communication difficult. She applied to the wrong colleges, and even the ones she selected had extremely high fees, which was never in line with what I wanted.

She constantly delayed important steps like applying to colleges and preparing the necessary documents. Because of this, I received my CAS very late and was forced to apply for a priority visa at an additional cost. Even then, I didn’t receive my visa on time, which forced me to cancel my already booked flight and lose a significant amount of money.

To make things worse, Shikha did not provide proper clarification or the required documents to the visa office, which further delayed the decision. Overall, the service was careless and unprofessional.

I would not recommend anyone to go through KC Overseas. They have the worst services and caused me far more loss and stress than I could have ever imagined

I had a bad experience with this organization. They partnered with Africred in the past few months and the service I’ve received has been shocking. I signed up for the admission and loan service with Africred in January 2025 for admission in September 2025. Before signing up, I had questions that were answered and I received a list of things that were needed for the admission and loan process. I was happy with this and I went forward. Some months passed and there was very little communication and no progress. Then KC Overseas stepped in with promises to not disappoint. A few weeks go by and there was no admission. They then told me that I needed to show a bank balance of £8500 or they would not be able to move forward with my loan application. I requested a refund because initially when I signed up, there was no mention of a bank balance needed before the loan process started. They refused to give me my refund even though I have received no service. They changed the terms of the agreement and kept the money I had paid. They don’t inform you of all the requirement prior to you paying the service fee and I believe that this is what scammers do. Don’t go with this company. They will waste your time and your money.
