This company is a rip off

This company is a rip off. The rate is to high and they are hard to get in contact with they charge your clients a higher price than what's listed. Get your own easy simple booking. Don't be to desperate to use these people its not worth it.

Overall it’s a good company to work with

Good company just glitches sometimes but they get them corrected. However, they are an inconvenience sometimes.

I have never had a problem until I made…

I have never had a problem until I made an appointment and the stylist never responded to my messages. I submitted a ticket and received an email saying they will respond within 48 hours, the appointment is in less than 12 hours. While trying to give the stylist time to resound, didn't know if I should go or not, reschedule or cancel the appointment. There are no appointments available for me for the time I need the service. This is unacceptable, I will never use this APP again. I will go into salons to make my appointments.

I booked an appointment with a stylist…

I booked an appointment with a stylist on October 28 to take place on November 1st at5 am. On Thursday, the stylist reached out and asked about the style I wanted. I didn'thear anything else from her until I reached out at 5:30 pm on Friday, October 31st, thenight before the appointment was supposed to occur, to ask about the location of theservice (her profile states "mobile stylist"). She replied that she would not have time tocomplete the style I wanted, and that she could do it on Sunday at 5 pm or any day at 4 pm. None of those times worked for me, so I let her know that she should cancel the service since she was unable to complete the service at the time I scheduled. The next day, I was charged $80.00 for "late cancellation." I reached out to the stylist for a refund, and received the following response: "Hello LaVonya, I hope this email finds you well. How are you today? My name is ****, and I’m with the StyleSeat Support Team. Thank you for reaching out— I’m here to help. I truly apologize for the delayed response, as we’re currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries. I appreciate your patience during this time. I’m so sorry to hear about your recent experience and that your appointment was canceled by the stylist. I completely understand how frustrating it must be to be charged when the service didn’t take place, and I want to make sure we get this resolved for you as quickly as possible. To get started, I’ll need a bit more information. It looks like the email address ****** isn’t linked to any StyleSeat account in our system. Could you confirm if you might have used a different email when booking your appointment? I responded to the email with my other email and received a cookie-cutter response: "Professionals have the option to set a No-Show and Late Cancellation Policy, which is visible on their profile page," etc.

I keep running into isues

I keep running into isues where any new client, even if I share my personal booking link, stylseat records them as a new client connection and takes $50. I constantly have to prove that i know the client. It makes me want to remove the new client connection feature.

When I got my hair cut it wasn't what I…

When I got my hair cut it wasn't what I asked for. I asked for a mid taper when instead got to low fade, the top is uneven, and now I have a high top even tho I never wanted one. I asked for a trim when instead he cut it too low. My front is short than any place else. And the top of my head looks like there's no hair:same length as when I came in.

Just to clarify our role: StyleSeat provides the booking and business tools professionals use, but we don’t manage their businesses or the services they provide. Because of that, we aren’t able to adjust service outcomes or issue refunds directly on their behalf. However, most Pros genuinely want their clients to be satisfied and are open to working toward a resolution when something doesn’t go as expected.

That said, we always want to do right by our community and make sure you’re supported. This review is for barber Brian…

This review is for barber Brian GODBOLT. It is robbery to not respond to a customer attempting to reschedule. I messaged him through the app to reschedule prior to 24 hours for the service. This barber charged my 60 dollars when the service was 45 dollars. He charged me while speaking to me before the appt. Very unprofessional. I had to dispute the charge. No integrity

Had a Bad Experience, Can't Leave a Review

There needs to be a way to review a stylist based on their conduct and business practices. My barber, who I was loyal to for six years, cancelled my appointment last minute and decided to ignore my text when he asked me when I wanted to rebook. He also ghosted me last month when i tried to schedule 5 days before a big event and there were no slots in StyleSeat. He accommodates other clients over the phone WHILE CUTTING MY HAIR, but for someone like me who always books on Style seat in the last six years with him...he's ignored all 7 or so of my calls and texts to make appointment or reschedule outside of the available StyleSeat slots. My barber took me for granted and so I'm no longer his client.

It is important for StyleSeat to allow clients to review stylists and not limit making reviews only after getting a haircut. I think these inflated ratings are obfuscating legitimate bad experiences that would otherwise be broadcasted.
