I ordered several orders 6 weeks ago and I still have not received anything. There's no communication and the tracking numbers are not what the USPS wants. I think it's wrong of this company advertise they're going out of business but they're not providing my items.
No products shipped
I ordered products online at really low prices, which I assumed was because it was a close-out sale. Well, if it seems too good to be true, it is.
After a month of no shipping confirmation I tried contacting customer service, with no success.
I finally disputed the charge with credit card company, and within a week the credit card company refunded my money.
Poor quality and service
Well, I finally received the turtleneck sweater today, 9/12, that was ordered and charged on 7/31. Very disappointed. The seam on the collar is sewn improperly therefore it does not match up anywhere on the body of the sweater. It will have to be worn as a scrunchie collar as the material is bunched. I have purchased from Sundance for several years. Perhaps since they are closing they are also selling defective merchandise that was returned. Disappointed that my final purchase ended on a sour note.

Ordered a Sevilla dress size 10 in white on Aug. 1,2025. Today is Sept. 1, 2025 and still have NOT received the dress. Spoke to customer service 2 weeks ago and was told it was being processed for shipping. Several emails later - maybe 7 or 8, and I received a response that someone would be contacting me soon. I had requesting shipping by August 29th or refund my $117. NO RESPONSE, NO DRESS, NO SHIPPING CONFIRMATION EMAIL, NO REFUND, NO MORE ANSWERING OF PHONE _ ONLY RECORDED MESSAGE STATING GOING OUT OF BUSINESS. Today is 9/1/2025.
Tired of paying shipping and return fees
Sundance clothing rarely fits the way you expect. They always charge shipping & return shipping. None of the better quality stores, such as Johnny Was, Nordstrom & even other less explensive brands, charge shipping or return fees.

I just discovered this site shortly before they began their closing sale. Ordered MANY items and have had no problems. So sorry they are going away. Almost all shipping was quick. Only one item took a little longer than expected, but it did arrive. Sale prices were inviting.

On 7/22/25 I placed an order just under $200.00 for two shirts and earrings during their 80% off sale which was a joke. Then found out that all their creditors haven’t been paid, tons of their work force through their website’s chat option have been let go, that they won’t cancel any orders even though they claim that they don’t know when and if, an order will even go out! I had to call up my AMEX card to dispute this charge because as AMEX has said, they might go out of business before any shipping and I’d be out my money!

Long time customer with no past issues. Purchased through the final sale on July 24--order was confirmed. Status hasn't changed in 10 days which is not normal. I did send an email, no response yet. I am concerned that I will become a creditor in their bankruptcy. Not sure it is safe to purchase from their closing sale. Be warned.
Returns and Exchanges Are Not The Same Numbskulls!
Purchased a sweater that stated final sale but did not say that my order could not be exchanged for a different size. They still showed the size I wanted for sale online. Went on Chat, they said that exchange and return "are the same thing". They are not. Check out the dictionary! They wouldn't have lost a dime on the sale, and I told them I would pay shipping both ways. Chat person couldn't do anything and told me to call their 800 number and I would be able to speak to someone who could help me. I called the number. This person couldn't comprehend the difference or the logic behind keeping me a satisfied customer vs. never buying anything from them again, all at no cost to them. Per Sundance, all purchases were final sale effective 6/23. Even though I purchased this July 12th without any notification about that. Figure that one out. The rep told me that if I wanted the sweater in a different size I should just purchase and I guess eat the $150 for the sweater I can't wear. I wouldn't be surprised if they're going out of business with this numbskull policy and no one able to actually make a logical decision.

They are actually going out of business, they e-mailed about their close out sale.
They owe me $342.00 since April and I am seriously worried about getting it back.
I shopped with Sundance for 25 years, most of my wardrobe and jewelry is from there.
There really isn't another store like what they once were and it is really a shame what has happened to them.
I read on a Utah newspaper that many of their jewelry craftspersons were asking for their jewelry back for fear of being shafted, that the store changed hands and in 2023-2024 most of their staff, including their buyers, left - and it shows.
Sad.
Not sure what to do next about my refund.
They are supposed to be taking the charge off of my credit card - how hard can that be ?

Purchased a dress that did not state final sale nor did my order confirmation state final sale. I contacted them to return the dress. Per Sundance, all purchases were final sale effective 6/23. If so, all order confirmations should state final sale. Stay away.

Poor customer service. No refunds on products that were shipped damaged. Do not purchase from this store/company.

Beware - Sundance is really Sundance Living now, and has gone downhill!
I ordered three dresses on Jun 14th and paid for two day shipping. When none of the dresses had arrived on June 19th - I inquired and found out that two of the dresses would arrive on June 24th, and one dress was backordered (that is supposed to be noted when you order an item, but it was not).
The two dresses arrived on the 23rd, which was after the event I needed one of them for, and I contacted Sundance to send them back, unopened. I had to pay for return shipping, but I did get reimbursed for my initial shipping cost of $20. Sundance received the dresses on June 28th. Here it is July 11th, and I have just received reimbursement for the dresses I returned. Most companies will reimburse you, especially if it was their fault, within hours if not one or two days.
My initial conversation with customer service was pleasant, and the person I dealt with was very understanding of my frustration at not receiving the dresses within the two-day timeframe. Since that time, however, customer service has been unhelpful at best. No compassion, no understanding, NO APOLOGY!
Sundance used to be a quality place to order from. Their prices are high, and the items are worth it. After this debacle, I will not be ordering from the now “Sundance Living” again. I am extremely disappointed.
And wait, there’s more… I received an email on June 24th stating that I had been issued a store credit due to the inconvenience. It's July 15th, and there’s no store credit in my account. Disappointment after disappointment. What is going on at Sundance Living?
BTW, I asked if they were a drop shipper and was told that they used to be but have not done that in a few months. I honestly question that response due to the delay in my dresses initially. They sat in KS for two days before moving on toward CT, which then took three more days…..

I can’t believe this company has not been shut down. They steal your money by not informing you of out of stock items. Actually charge your credit card. Most reputable companies charge your card when item has shipped. DO NOT ORDER SO MUCH AS A TOOTHPICK FROM THIS COMPANY! God help you if you try and get a refund on anything at all.. once they get your money they basically refuse to give it back with dozens of excuses! They give new meaning to the word “ gaslighting”!
Going downhill
I’ve made many purchases of beautiful pieces from Sundance Catalog, including boots, earrings, belts, dresses and tops. In March, I purchased a belt, only to find out it was back ordered until June. It’s July now, and I still hadn’t received it. I logged onto my account, only to find my card was refunded for the belt (with no email or notification). Upon reading all these reviews, I guess I should be happy they refunded me. Still so disappointing.
Deceptive tactics!
Totally disgusted with their lack of customer service. I ordered a jacket and pants in March. Jacket never arrived even after several attempts to work with customer service. FINALLY in June, received a note that the item was unavailable and I’d get a Sundance credit. I don’t want that!! The pants were too small- I ordered a larger size and they are smaller than the first pair! Ugh! Avoid!!!!

Also purchased three identical items for gifts. They did not say final sale. There was no option for returning so I called and they said nothing was returnable, starting June 1st. I asked three times and she said that items that are regular price are no longer returnable too.
