We bought the 2.5m pergola and one sunscreen. I decided to fit the pergola myself, being an OK DIYer.
The assembly is straight forward, each piece is clearly labelled and the instrument are written in plain English, not someone from abroad having a go at writing.
Couple the instructions with the videos and if you lay all the parts out it is obvious what goes where.
The actual fitting was surprisingly easy. Mainly due to the excellent quality of the individual pieces and the engineering of them. Each section slotted together perfectly, no hitting with a hammer or using a screwdriver to force parts together. Every hole lined up, I was very impressed with their work quality.
I needed to contact them to get them to send a part which wasn’t In the boxes. I emailed them and had a reply in hours. Once we established which part was missing it was sent immediately.
However, upon installation, I found the missing parts inside one of the leg supports, my fault. So check inside the legs for parts!
Sunopy sorted the return of the parts free of charge- it was my fault They even answered an email on a Sunday afternoon.
The job is mostly able to be done by one person, wher you’ll need help is to actually erect the unit. Two will do, but three people will make it so much easier.
The sunscreen was easy to fit. You do have to be accurate with you measurements on the brackets though.
We are very pleased with the finished result, it looks very high quality and a lovely black colour
In correspondence with Sunopy I understand they are a young growing company and need good reviews.
I can absolutely recommend them. An aluminium product, so no rust, for an amazing price.
What else can I say, if your thinking of buying one then buy with confidence.

Ordered the pergola in November to install in Summer after some garden building work but decided to move house instead. The company were incredibly understanding and accepted return of the product with no fuss at all. I can’t speak for the pergola itself, but if it’s anything like the quality of the packaging, it is very top quality.

This company doesn’t have many reviews so I was sceptical initially but their Pergolas were a fair bit cheaper than their competitors and they were extremely responsive in messaging on the website which gave me a bit of confidence and I took the risk. The ordering and delivery all went smoothly. The installers then came approximately a week later to install and they were fantastic and very knowledgeable / professional. One small piece was initially missing (for the blinds we had purchased) but Sunopy were going to send it out asap for it to be fixed. In the end, the installers found the missing part when they were clearing up the boxes so fixed it, and the finished product looks even better than I expected. So so pleased with my gorgeous Pergola and that I chose Sunopy!

Instructions and video very easy to follow.
It took me and my son (16yrs old) 4-5 hrs to assemble
(two step ladders will make life easier.)
I brought four sides as well -haven't installed these yet as it keeps on raining (hopefully will do this weekend)

Delivery was fast and friendly , the product itself is well designed and manufactured , assembly was easy and the final result made a huge difference to our garden space . We purchased a pergola from Sunopy a few months ago and wow what a difference our garden looks. It’s perfect for us to relax under and enjoy the summer. I would definitely recommend Sunopy and there customer service was absolutely fantastic, keeping us updated on stock and delivery.

Great product. Good quality and looks great once installed. Our only very small niggle was the instructions are not great.
We were delivered some wrong parts, we got 4 side beams and were missing roof slats. Service was really excellent on the exchange of the boxes.

Excellent product, we looked at various different ones in local garden centres and DIY shops but after a few hours research on the internet we decided to go with Sunopy.
Delivery was fast, I never got to see the delivery guys as I had the pergola delivered to my place of work, but I was told they were friendly and helpful.
I put the pergola together on my own either exception of needing help to move the two completed end frames into place and drop the side flames in.
On completion I noticed that one of the roof slats was slightly bent, I contacted Sunopy and a replacement arrived the next day.
Overall I am very impressed, the quality and finish is second to none.

Best price I could find on the Internet for a freestanding aluminum Pergola. Product looks good and exactly what we wanted. Delivered quickly and efficiently. Packaged well with all the parts needed. Fairly easy to install, which I did on my own. Customer support was good.

Only suggestion I would make is for the company to make a you tube video to assist customers in putting their products together.

The quality of our Pergola is outstanding and the matte white looks great. The assembly instruction is easy to follow and there is a video to watch also.
We had major problems with the third party delivery company, however Sunopy staff did everything to sort it out. Great comms throughout; from answering the online chat to ringing us directly.
