There is something seriously wrong with this app, and I do not recommend it. Sometimes I would hit the button to dictate, it would result in a completely different language. This was happening frequently, alongside times it would take my dictation and duplicate it twice in the text box over and over again and also the app repeatedly freezing and needing to be restarted.

It is a very frustrating, very tiring app to work with, The worst part of it is that customer service don't give a crap. I wrote an email and have not had a response in weeks. I followed it up with a few more emails, but still no response. It’s unacceptable to operate like this as a business. And so I’ve cancelled and I’m using a different app now.

They charged me twice in 3 days, both on the same email, but only provided an invoice for one. They offer to refund one of the charges - but only with the removal of my account. So I'll be left having paid once... for no account.

Customer service rude and perfunctory, didn't bother looking into it.

Superwhisper's privacy policy is over two years out of date, and is silent on some important issues. I'm not sure if the customer service email address they put on their website is functional, but I sent an email asking for clarification, and didn't get anything back.

This tool made my work life really hard. I paid 10 dollars for it, and I'm shocked how bad it is.
- Occasionally, when giving voice input, it was returning an contextual answer based on my voice input and not the transcription of my voice input itself.
- Also, I found out even when turning off the specific setting that it was sending all of the context of my Claude code session into the cloud.
Apart from this, when using specific models, I often got the error message that my API maximum usage was met. This was all very annoying. I deleted it.

Incredible Product that will save you ton of time by talking to your computer instead of writing. It's more than just a transcription tool.

I've been using SuperWhisper for several months to write my emails, to code, to brainstorm and it's definitely a game changer. We're able to easily create profiles / change models. Also able to translate in real time, which is amazing (ex : speak in english, output in german or any other language) so it can be increadible for international support teams.

The team is very reactive and updates the app regularly.

What I like the most is that it's built for privacy, transcriptions & recordings are stored on device.
