Subject: Request for Reassessment – Evidence of Review Manipulation and Extortion
Dear Trustpilot Content Integrity Team,
Thank you for reviewing my previous report.
I respectfully request a reassessment of the remaining review because I have additional evidence that demonstrates it is part of a coordinated review manipulation attempt.
The individual contacted me via WhatsApp from the phone number +234 915 339 7639 and offered paid Trustpilot review services. After I declined to continue, the individual admitted they had posted reviews on my Trustpilot profile and then threatened my business.
The WhatsApp messages include statements such as:
• "If you're not interested let me know so I can bring my reviews down."
• "I will destroy your business with negative reviews."
• "If either you pay for the review we post or your business get problems."
These statements show that the reviews were being used as leverage to obtain payment and were not genuine customer experiences.
I understand that a genuine experience does not always require a purchase. However, this individual has never booked any travel service with our company, never requested a quotation, never became a customer, and explicitly admitted they were posting reviews as part of a paid review arrangement.
I respectfully ask that you review the attached WhatsApp screenshots together with the remaining review and determine whether it violates Trustpilot's policies regarding fake or manipulated reviews.
