I WAS a satisfied SURFE user, but not anymore
I was a satisfied SURFE user for more than a year and was willing to pay the relatively high price for what was promised as a seamless integration between LinkedIn and Pipedrive.
Unfortunately, my experience has changed significantly over the past months.
Several features that were essential to me have either disappeared or no longer work as promised:
* The automatic synchronization of LinkedIn messages to Pipedrive no longer works.
* Exporting LinkedIn lists, which previously allowed up to 100 contacts per day to be imported, no longer seems to be available.
* Contact synchronization is no longer smooth and appears to be checked against SURFE's own database first, which raises questions about how user data is being processed.
Although SURFE has strongly denied using customer data to enrich its own databases, I personally have the strong impression that this may be happening. Greater transparency on this topic would be appreciated.
What disappoints me the most is the lack of communication. I was never proactively informed that certain functionalities were no longer available. Only when I started a new campaign a few months later did I discover that several features had stopped working.
The documentation is also problematic. The Wiki still refers to old workflows that have not worked for a long time. For some features, such as list export, there is simply no clear or up-to-date information available.
Support does respond, but it is not proactive. When issues arise, the responses often feel generic, while structural problems appear to receive insufficient follow-up.
Despite my positive experiences in the past, I can unfortunately no longer recommend SURFE today to users looking for a reliable and complete LinkedIn-to-Pipedrive integration.
