The order was placed over a week before chosen delivery date, 2 day shipping chosen. The cake arrived 4 days LATE! The graduate did not have the cake for the special day, and was gone by the time it arrived.
Customer service was not helpful, citing the cake is still edible. Who cares if it’s edible! An $80 gimmick cake is purchased for the gimmick, not the edibility! It was tiny and the mechanism was laughable.
Terrible company.
The website stated that if the cake was over today late, a full refund would be made.
THEY LIED.
Only the shipping fee of $15 was reimbursed, with great difficulty.
If you are reading this, find another way to celebrate your loved one.

Ordering was amazing. Delivery was three days late and getting hold of someone at that point was difficult with no help. The delivery was for ex fault but if you see your product isn’t getting there perhaps you take action. Surprise was ruined. Won’t order again

This place is terrible and you should not order anything from here. I was all excited about the birthday cake I ordered for my daughter and it never arrived. I picked this place because they would deliver on the actual date. When I asked for a refund they wrote that they hoped i understood UPS can be delayed. Really?

I ordered a cake specifically for a date and in advance for a very special birthday and it was 2 days late after the birthday ! Hence had no meaning and most got charged for nothing and a stale cake . Ridiculous . Only Surprise I received was a ripoff .

I ordered a surprise cake for a family member and instead of being delivered to the family member it arrived at my address.

When I reached out to the company they said,

when you put in the payment the apple pay system auto populated your address over the shipping address and since this isn't our company's fault ...

I want to make sure that this issue is out there for others who may want to use the payment systems that the company endorses... and recognize that they are well aware of the issues with apple pay and should work to address the issue with apple pay so that these $100 mistakes dont happen to their customers.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I ordered a cake over a week before the delivery date for my daughter’s birthday and it never arrived. All they would offer was 15% off my next order. I am now going through my bank to get a full refund. Plus they are more expensive than Send a Cake. I have used them several times and I should have NEVER tried this company. Don’t order from here!!!!

I ordered a cake for on 2/15 to be delivered on 2/20. The cake arrived 10 days after I ordered it. The cake was so old, it had to be thrown out. Do not order from this company.

I would give a zero star if I could. I ordered and paid for a cake for my 6 year old grandson. I was asked about the delivery date. I was bringing it to him 400 miles away. It arrived a day later. Needless to say he didn’t get a cake on his special day. No apologies or refund. I was told “delays” happen. Order your cake with plenty of days to spare. Other companies offer the same product probably more reliable.

If I could give it no stars I would. Complete fail on surprise cake. I ordered my cake to be delivered 2/24. Received the tracker number and was excited to have my son surprised on his birthday. The cake never arrived. No email from surprise cake customer service about the delay in delivery. No apology. Nothing. I reached out and explained the problem that a late cake no longer has the same effect. I requested that they resolve this as it’s not acceptable to promise a delivery date and then ignore that it was not met. Again I was provided with a weather delay. By the way that’s complete BS. If I can get important docs overnight we can get a cake somewhere in a few days. But it’s probably more costly on their part but guess what I spent $100 a a $10 cake so the profit margin is going to shrink if you have to cover the cost to actually get it there on time. Complete waste. Awful customer service. Next time, I will use a local bakery or even have Walmart deliver a cake.

I ordered a cake as a birthday surprise for my daughter. The cake was delayed due to weather, which I initially understood. However, her birthday was three days ago, the weather has since cleared, and I still have not received the cake or any indication of when it will be delivered.

What’s most disappointing is the lack of customer service. Despite the missed delivery and the fact that the product is now useless for its intended purpose, the company is unwilling to offer any refund or accommodation.

This was meant to be a special moment, and instead it turned into stress and disappointment. I would not recommend this company based on reliability and customer support.

Surprise cake was a total letdown. It did not work at all like the video ad shows. I paid extra for it to play the Happy Birthday song, but it did not. The company says no refunds are issued for this product ever due to its edible nature.

I’m so disappointed with this service, I placed my ordered in the timeframe for the cake to be delivered, one day before my daughter‘s birthday. However, the cake was delivered two days past the original delivery date, one day after my daughter’s birthday.
I asked for a full refund because, I no longer needed the cake, I had made accommodation for the undelivered cake.
Still haven’t got any response about my refund.
I eventually open the cake, it was lovely my daughter loved it but it was one two days too late. 94.00$ down the drain not cool.

Advertises delivery on a specific date delivery date, but 4 days late. No customer services, states too bad we can’t guarantee delivery. Buyer beware. Also, stated nonperishable, what????

This could have been a perfect gift. I ordered a tiny $60 surprise cake. I wanted it delivered ON the day I indicated. That would be the persons birthday. Instead, it arrived 2 days early. I suppose that’s better than late, but this is not what I wanted.

I was going to send one to my future DIL on her wedding day. How can I do that? Should it show up at the wedding hall, 2 days early?

I am very disappointed and the company did NOTHING to make it right. I won’t be using them again. There are plenty of similar companies.
