I came to Sydney Book Publishers with only a few recorded conversations and random chapter ideas. Their ghostwriter connected everything into a smooth story that felt personal without sounding exaggerated.✨
I tried formatting my book myself contacting Sydney Book Publisher and it honestly looked terrible on different devices. Their team cleaned everything up and made the ebook version display properly everywhere!!
I wasn’t sure how the process would go with a children’s picture book because it’s such a specific format. Jay Smith hit it straight away. His notes in the text-to-image balance were exactly what I needed and the recommended an illustrator who absolutely nailed the belief. Communication was consistent throughout. The finished book is gorgeous and my kinds class tested it before publications were which Jay actually suggested one of many good ideas he had along the way.
Formatting was fine, but it took longer than I’d hoped. Communication could’ve been better; I had to follow up multiple times. Overall decent job but room for improvement!
