Another great trip to Bologna, Parma,Modena and Ferrara. Well organised and it was good to receive less paper for our train tickets. It might have been helpful to make use of the Trenitalia App to access the tickets though. That said, we were only required to present the QR code once in 6 journeys.

Very well organised, we liked the hotel choices, which were in perfect locations for restaurants and stations.
Would definitely book another trip with this company.

The itinerary compiled by Tailor Made Rail for our recent visit to France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy was fantastic. The information pack sent with our Interrail tickets was clear and easy to follow. The hotels that were booked were excellent. Definitely would recommend Tailor Made Rail. Really stress-free travel at its best.

It was our first holiday of this type and with this tour operator. We are both approaching 80 and were, understandably, nervous about what could go wrong. It was a trip to Northern Italy and involved quite a few rail journeys as well as several hotels. We needn’t have worried as the experience was everything we could have hoped for. Beautiful trains and every one on time, lovely hotels which were convenient for the stations and a superb destination. We are considering booking with Tailor Made next year to enjoy another part of the world.

This was our first holiday with Tailor Made Rail and we would not hesitate to use them again. We chose one of their advertised packages, for Andalusia, and then had it customised to meet our requirements. The train bookings all worked very well, with excellent instructions from TMR. We opted for the 1st class upgrade package which I would highly recommend given the time spent on the trains. All the hotels booked for us where great, all in a good location, walkable from the rail stations and close to (but not in the middle of) each city. I would highly recommend Tailor Made Rail.

The company kept in very good communication with us throughout our dealings with them. Melissa was especially helpful and dealt effectively with all of the queries and changes that I presented to her.
The company organised taxi transfers for us twice during our trip - the first when there was a rail strike in Italy and the second when our ferry from Malta was delayed and we missed a connection.

The people are just great ,with help and advice, it was my first time and was on my own and all went to plan.

The holiday was so well planned from train travel through to the choice of hotels. The team at Tailor Made Rail were really helpful whenever we had questions. We made friends with the people that were on the same trip and enjoyed many meals and drinks with them. Lovely memories.

Very easy booking process and just about every part of our holiday organised by TMR. We had a couple of questions before leaving for our holiday which were quickly answered and explained. We would use this company again.

We enjoyed our Tailor Made Rail trip so much last year that we did it again this year.

We had a great rail holiday in France 2024 that we tailored the Vienna package to do another one this year. Customer service was great from pre sale support and post sale questions to holiday support, when a delayed train made us nearly miss the Eurostar.

It is the customer service from start to finish that brings us back to tmr and share your name with friends and fellow travellers. Can't wait to do it all over again :)

The inter rail system was brilliant, we were able to catch some earlier trains and use a spare pass to go to Zurich.
The hotel in Brig was great and the staff helpful and funny. Our day trip to Zermatt was incredible and the visit to Strasbourg cathedral to see the astronomical clock and discover the history of it was mind blowing.
We were so lucky with the weather, we had wonderful blue skies and mostly good temperatures.
We did have a couple of trains cancel which we had to work around and a time change that we should have been advised of prior to starting our holiday.
Having a physical travel pack worked really well for us and using the Swiss train app was invaluable.
We would definitely travel with Tailor Made Rail again.

Everything is taken care of down to the last detail. On our recent trip to Spain there was a train strike. Tailor Made contacted us and immediately arranged alternative transport. The hotels are always wonderful and ideally placed. We have peace of mind when travelling with them.

Tailor made travel organised our trip across to the north of Poland for a family wedding. It was a wonderful way to travel and the company were always at hand to answer our queries during the booking process as it was the first time that either of us had travelled by train abroad. The journey was not for the faint hearted and was tiring but it all flowed seamlessly. I was especially pleased that the company quickly responded to a change on the European sleeper which they communicated to us straight away.
