Purchased 'NZ Stock' 8th July 2025.
It's now beginning of September - have not received item.
They don't answer their phone and took 6 days to respond to my email. They said they'd look into it. That's the last I've heard.
2 weeks later I sent another email advising that I'd now like a refund - I knew I wouldn't get a response to that one.
Their website might look professional but they are either scammers or don't have the skills to run a reputable business.
Steer clear and buy local - at least you'll get what you paid for, support if needed and support your local community : )

I gave them 1 star - because there's no lower option. They get a zero from me. Further to the review I wrote a few days ago - I now find that Tech Supply Shed are not located at the address listed on their website. They also do not appear to be NZ-based although they claim to have a NZ distributor. I have now succeeded in getting a full refund through PayPal and will never deal with TSS again. If they aren't a scam then they are hopeless at customer service and delivery on advertised promises.

Similar to others. Goods ordered and paid for on 22 July. Apart from confirmation email no other contact. Phone calls go unanswered. Emails and online contact form also not responded to. It all feels like a big scam. Have now notified PayPal, the Police and my Bank and am seeking recovery of $1,724. Simon

Ordered a product on the 14th May, it is now the 11th July and we're still waiting - phone number just has a 'busy' tone - have contacted our bank to see if they can get our $600 back.

These people are con artists. They sent me a faulty monitor that I reported by email to be as such the same day I received the product - Philips 243V7QJAB/79 24" - but zero response. I emailed again two days later. No response. If I had realised they were in Australia I wouldn't have purchased it in the first instance. I dont have the time to pursue this from New Zealand but would warn potential buyers - DON'T do it?

Items wheren't shipped - despite showing in stock. No comms, no replies. Had to get a charge back from bank which was the smoothest part of this whole transaction.

Avoid - this company is finished.

I have had a similar experience to most of the other reviewers - non delivery of product, no response to emails, phone messages and on line requests on their website. I reported the matter to my Bank, and had to replace my Visa card. I also reported to Cert NZ who concluded "appears to be a retail scam" and they handed to matter to the Police. The Police response was "appears to be a legitimate business and unlikely to be a scam" and won't be investigating further. My Bank meanwhile disputed the transaction and processed a temporary refund. After the required 60 days, and with no response or contact the Bank advised that I had won the dispute. the refund was final and the matter now closed. At least I got my money back!

I wrote a review of this company on 20/2/25 detailing their dishonesty and how they do not answer ANY communication. luckily for me I purchased through PayPal and they have returned my purchase price.

Sadly the same story as the majority of these reviews. Ordered item with an arrival date within 2-5 days. Non arrival of item two weeks later and absolutely no response to emails. Requested refund, opened dispute with PayPal- and item turns up after three weeks with no explanation or apology. In the meantime I’ve ordered from elsewhere. Awful communication - or lack of. I cannot recommend this company at all. Similar complaints on TradeMe and other sites. Order elsewhere. But I suspect they don’t care very much about their reputation or they wouldn’t behave this way.

Shocking! No communication, no replies to emails, voice messages or follow up when I actually got to speak to someone. Cancelled order and ordered elsewhere.

2 stars because the goods eventually turned up, but my experience was exactly like everyone else is describing.
- Website said stock available with 2-5 day delivery time. It took 6 weeks to arrive.
- While waiting for the product, I received a "please provide feedback on this product" email when I hadn't received it
- While waiting for the product, I received a track and trace email for someone else's order.
- I received no track and trace email for my item when it did finally arrive.
- Calls to the 0800 number were clearly going to a call centre in Australia. Calls were not returned.
- Responses to email queries were initially hopeless, then eventually ignored.
As others have commented, the fact that an organisation can do business like this in New Zealand is a disgrace.

I should have checked here before buying. Same as the others, I got scammed and paid for something I'll probably never received. FFS how can a business like this can stay around... Disgusting

No proper communication, and hard to track the packages. Asked for a refund but replied really late which wasted a lot of my time. Update: Received my refund a week later.

My husband purchased battery clamps and paid for them and received nothing. No refund.
Bad communication
They are dirty thieves don't buy from them.

Update. We have since recieved the clamps. We will not be shopping from them in the future

Ordered some Epson printer ink at a very good price on Monday 14 October and it was delivered by the courier on Friday 18 October. Pretty good service!

Got half of our order, the rest is on backorder even though the website showed in stock, and we were able to order, and pay for, these items.
Have been trying to get an invoice, but no luck even after multiple emails and leaving multiple answerphone messages.
I note that the company was deregistered on the 11th September 2024 so beware.

This company is a scam beware.

Been waiting for over a month for a product I purchased. Got an email saying the product was out of stock despite being advertised as “in stock” on the website but it was going to be sent the following week. Still nothing.
The 0800 number goes through to voicemail every time.
I ended up opening a dispute and my credit card had to be replaced.
Do not trust these people.

Items never shipped and the seller won't answer the phone or respond to emails. I have had to cancel my credit card and request a transaction reversal.

It appears they are avoiding reviews but if you search hard enough you can find many other buyers who have had similar issues.

They also have a Trademe account with many negative reviews - it appears their positive reviews are for some small items like batteries and ink cartridges, so I suspect they don't hold stock of most items they list.
