I needed a car and instructor for my earlier test date. Andreas was very friendly and quick to find me a good instructor.
Very highly recommended, if you need a professional and efficient service.

I’m so excited, I just passed after an hour mock test with the instructor. Andrea was the best kept me posted though my booking was very late and less than 24hours. Test Car 1 is a go to. Will highly recommend. Thank you all.

At the beginning of my driving lesson yesterday, my instructor informed me she would no longer be available for my scheduled test and I would need to hire a car. She showed me Test Car 1 and recommended them, so i entered my details to get a quote (£200) I then put my phone away to continue my lesson.

After my lesson I saw I had 1 missed call and a text message reading:
"£20 off & a 1 hour LIMITED TIME Special offer is only available to you. Total cost is £180. Pay £90 now and the remainder £90 to the car instructor on test day. Car+instructor+1hr practice meet outside the centre of your choice. Book now to avoid disappointment". (this was received at 12:48)

At 13:26 (38 minutes later - not even a full hour) i'd received another text:
"Unfortunately we are taking you off our system due to no positive response from you. We will not respond to future enquiries from you & any payment you make in future will be instantly refunded -£5 Regards."

I had very much wished to proceed with the booking straight after my lesson but after this disgusting level of customer service I am very glad I didnt book!
Looking at Test Car 1's responses to negative comments i'm expecting to be called out as a liar. I have screenshots of my text messages from this company as proof that i'll be happy to share in response if this happens.

Please please please improve your customer service! I was more than willing to pay the £200! but after this shocking and rather rude response, I will be going elsewhere.

Your service is to provide rental cars for driving tests. Calling me stupid for not having a car for a test when i've just explained my instructor has cancelled 2 weeks in advance seems a bit harsh...

Nowhere in the policy section of your website does it state that you get one chance to make a booking. I would also like to add that your website states that you cover all UK driving test centres, so I am unsure as to why you have mentioned that you are 200 miles away from me? especially as I haven't given you my location...

I have just sent my screenshots directly to Test car 1 to refresh their memory of our correspondence, as they seem to think it hadn't happened.

It seems Trustpilot does not allow me to post links to the screenshots of my correspondence which is unfortunate, so for now I shall wish Test Car 1 all the best, and hope that they can take my criticism constructively to build a stronger company in the future.

Edit 2:
I am done trying to reason with this company, and this will be my final response.
Unfortunately my driving instructors mother passed away, and will be attending her funeral on the day of my test, thus the cancellation.
Despite my many attempts to reschedule my test via the .gov website, I seem to be unable to change it as no test dates are showing due to the pandemic.

You keep telling everyone that this review 'is not genuine' yet we are having a perfectly civil conversation about this review via email where you have acknowledged my screenshots and proof that I have contacted you.

In the future, if you do not wish to receive a 'damaging review', treat your customers (and potential customers) better!

I'm not sure as to how myself or another driving schools have benefitted from this as you suggest, as I am still without an instructor and car for my test! :(

I will not be responding any further to this company as I do not deem this conversation to be constructive.

Future customers - please feel free to take my review with a pinch of salt, you may have a much better experience than I. But I think Test Car 1's responses speak for themselves on this matter.

Parvez was absolutely Amazing he was patient thoughtful and gave clear instructions, he arrived early and allowed me time to get use to the car, I would recommend him fully and rate him 10 out of 10 and I passed my Driving test.

wish I found them sooner, would have saved me a lot of stress. I booked a test out of London and was struggling to find an instructor with a car (called about 30 ppl). Found them online and Andreas was just amazing, found me a car with an instructor in less than a day! Sorted it out for me, worth the price which honestly is not bad at all considering that I was ready to pay more than that. Instructor they found me was brilliant and patiently went through everything again to make sure I was ready before the test.

Fantastic service!! So helpful. I mucked up the initial date of the booking but they still helped me out to reschedule free of charge. Thanks again!!

Really lovely instructor, i felt so calm and confident before my test.

Needed an emergency test car for a test in 2 days time, manage to get a 1hour practice and use it for the test straight after which I passed with flying colours.

Excellent service. They managed to find a very good instructor and a car with one day notice (I luckily found a practical test appointment in the last minute). Advice and tips before the test are key, even for an experienced driver. Professional service. And very good communication with the team and the instructor once the payment is done.

Really good service. With only 1 day notice they manage to arrange an instructor for the practical test. He gave me one lesson before the test and reviewed some critical things to have in mind.

Sorted me an instructor and a better test within 2 days. Great communication, great instructor and a first time pass. Couldn’t ask for much more. Definitely recommend.
