Lisa Austin has been such an amazing tutor for my son. He needed some help with ISEE prep. She quickly understood what areas to focus on and was able to help him close the gap needed.
She was also so helpful to me as a parent... to help me understand my son better in his intellectual/academic development.

Highly recommend! Both my girls just clicked with Kristain's tutoring style for math. He is patient and explains the problem-solving with clarity and logic.
We have been working with him at Test Innovators since 2021, not only for ISEE and SAT prep but also for occasional math tutoring.

We had such a great experience with Kristain that when we decided to homeschool for half a year, we hired him twice a week to tutor my daughter in math. My daughter excelled and was placed in honors math in high school.

Kristian has just started tutoring my youngest daughter for the ISEE. She also finds his style clear and easy to understand. I have referred him to several friends who agree he is an excellent math tutor for whatever your math needs are.

The tutor was excellent! She was knowledgable, kind and kept my student motivated. She really knew what to focus on and how to get my student where she needed to be in each section of the test.

Vera knew our kid really well, and was so present and focused during the sessions. It was easy to schedule, and she was also available to talk through things on email as needed.

Tynisha is the real deal. After our initial consultation, the company matched us with her perfectly, and that match made all the difference. We had very limited time to prepare my daughter Stella for the ISEE, and Tynisha came in focused, professional, and immediately effective. She zeroed in on exactly what Stella needed, gave her the right tools and strategies, and helped her take the test with genuine confidence. The results speak for themselves. Highly, highly recommend — especially if you're working against the clock.

Chris is a patient tutor for my daughter who is 6yr9mo old. We started in 11/2025 when my daughter was doing the practice test with 3 correct on reading and 3 correct on auditory. Reading was the key area we worked on and we were trialing. My daughter was a bit shy with new ppl in general so in the first few 45min sessions she only talked to Chris on essential reading related stuff. But when we were almost done with the 5/6 hr trial she suddenly opened up and she requested to have more tutoring sessions. I think Chris’ patience with her and trying to keep it fun and also keep on trying no matter what she responded worked. We had another 10 hr session with Chris until close to ISEE date and Chris was very thorough in every aspect of the reading drills, from strategies, to drills, to correct mistakes, to speed, step by step, and he also collaborated with me on areas to focus etc. My daughter developed the trust with him and was much more open in talking to him and she looked fwd to her sessions with Chris during the winter break. It feels a bit sad that we have to end the tutoring with Chris when ISEE date came close. But Chris has been encouraging her all the time to continue to do more practice with Mom. Eventually our hard work get paid off. My daughter got 14 and 6 correct for reading and auditory respectively, 85th percentile and 7. She got 9 for math with only 1 mistake. We didnt do as much on math but Chris helped to pinpoint a few areas she could work on, and with her reading leap she was able to show her real power on math. We are very thankful for Chris’ support during all the tutoring sessions when other ISEE tutors were not as interested in working with kids her age and starting levels. Emily McGettrick was an absolute pleasure to work with. She created such a warm, supportive environment that my daughter felt comfortable right away. I was hesitant about virtual tutoring at first, but it worked seamlessly. Emily was incredibly responsive and thoughtful—providing extra practice, personalizing sessions, and making sure my daughter truly understood the material. She played a meaningful role in helping her feel prepared and confident for the ISEE. I highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a dedicated, attentive tutor.

My son and daughter have been working with Matthew Farrell for a little more than 3 years now. At first it was just test prep but we realized the kids learned so much with Matthew that it was worthwhile to continue and it has paid off immensely. There is no fighting with them to go - Matthew is very patient and kind and good at explaining things. He is also great at working to accommodate your needs whether it be a change in schedule or a change in learning focus. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend Matthew to anyone who wants to give their kids some extra learning help!

My 8th grader took her first test with no prep at all and scored in the 69th percentile overall. She worked mostly with Emily and on her second take, scored in the 81st percentile overall, with a 94th percentile in reading and 70's in math and verbal. Alot of her improvement was simply learning how to take the test, as well as practice in certain areas. The test prep helped a great deal. Emily also would help her with her homework, she was flexible and helpful.

Emily helped my son prepare for the HSPT and thereafter with academic tutoring for school. My son always finds his sessions with Emily helpful. Emily comes prepared and is very flexible with our schedule. I would recommend Emily highly.

My daughter is an 8th grader. She did poorly on her ISEE the first time. We decided to get a tutor and found Emily McGettrick with Test Innovators. Emily worked with my daughter over 2.5 weeks. She was super organized and helpful. After each tutor session she gave my daughter homework to make sure she was practicing and progressing. Her plan for outside of the tutor sessions really helped them make the most of their time together and ensured my daughter had a complete and full understanding of the topics. In total, my daughter had 10, 1 hour sessions with Emily before she retook the ISEE. My daughter’s score went up a total of 9 points making her eligible for schools she thought were out of reach. I would highly recommend Emily and will definitely use her again.

Emily, our son’s tutor, was always punctual and never canceled an appointment with us. She was kind and knowledgeable about all test areas for the ISEE test. She helped our son grasp new concepts and understand how to take the test effectively. Emily was excellent, and I highly recommend her.

Worth it. Emily M is fantastic.

Our daughter is smart, but not great at tests, at least right off the bat. We worked with Test Innovators and tried several tutors, including Zayn, who is great, before connecting with Emily. Emily is another level.

Emily worked with our daughter, supporting her in many different ways: helping her develop a growth mindset, arming her with test-taking strategies, and supporting her to learn a ton of reading, verbal, and math skills. Our daughter's quant score went up by 30 percentage points compared to her practice tests, and her verbal and reading went up 10 or so, hitting 99 percent. Emily has also been there to help our daughter with school tests, boosting our daughter's results significantly. She is well ahead of most of her classmates now.

Emily's technique, which included taking the time to really get to know and connect with our child, set the stage for very effective sessions. Working with Emily has been a high point of our kid's year.

Vera educates through expertise and deep engagement. She connected with our son as a person, understood his personality and learning style, and gave him the support, test-taking strategies, and practice tests and questions to succeed as a learner. As a twice-exceptional learner, our son needed a tutor who understood him holistically and could redirect his efforts and practice as needed. With Vera's help and his work, he increased his High School Placement Test scores from the 92nd percentile to the 99th, earning the highest academic scholarship to his high school of choice. We started working with Vera Wexler to strengthen my daughter's reading and math skills. Vera guides my daughter step by step through reading questions, teach her how to break down passages, find key details, and choose the best evidence for her answers. Because of Vera's guidance, my daughter's reading scores have improved by a lot. She is much more confident when she faces challenging questions. Vera is patient, encouraging, and truly knows how to help students building strong reading skills. Highly recommend!

Our family recommends both Test Innovators and my son's tutor Vera Wexler very highly. The Test Innovators structure, through which my son was able to take multiple practice tests and examine the answers, was deeply helpful in both normalizing the test process and improving his scores. His one-on-one tutoring with Vera Wexler, however, was what really took his test prep experience to the next level. Not only did his Reading / Verbal scores meaningfully improve, he enjoyed the process, and has a deeper appreciation and interest in vocabulary as a result. Highest recommendation and thanks!

We signed up our daughter (who was applying to independent schools for 7th grade and taking the ISEE) for a few months of biweekly tutoring with Test Innovators, in particular with a tutor named Taylor. Taylor did an outstanding job. She knew all aspects of the ISEE extremely well and had excellent pedagogical abilities and techniques for math and reading more generally. She also paid close attention to what our daughter was getting and not getting and was able to match the lessons to our daughter's needs in a careful and efficient way. Taylor also had a calm professional demeanor that made everything comfortable for our daughter. The experience of working with this tutor not only helped improve our daughter's scores substantially throughout a series of practice tests and two sittings of the ISEE, but also added to our daughter's knowledge and confidence in her regular school classes, particularly in math. We cannot recommend Test Innovators and Taylor highly enough.

My daughter worked with Taylor at Test Innovators for ISEE testing and found it very helpful, user friendly and a great experience. In a short period of time she increased her scores. They have many resources available and the scheduling was quite easy. I would definitely use Test Innovators for future tutoring needs and highly recommend Taylor.
