Bought £50 worth of tickets on a competition at That Prize Guy and within minutes the price per entry dropped from 45p to 20p.
That means for the same £50 I could have received nearly 3x the number of entries just minutes later. This isn’t just a “sale” it directly affects your odds after you’ve already paid.
I’ve checked their terms and there’s no clear, upfront warning that ticket prices can drop like this after purchase. That’s a major lack of transparency.
Feels like early buyers are being penalised while later buyers get significantly better value for the exact same competition.
Would not recommend unless you’re happy risking overpaying for worse odds.
I had the best day off work
I had the best day off work.
Received a phone call from Marky, telling me I’d won £1000.
Real friendly fella.
Thanks That Prize Guy. 👍🏻
Cheap great prizes just dont expect a
Great prizes and cheap tickets but virtually zero chance of winning. Playing 5 years not a button beside it every time. Like all games real winner is prize guy hoovering up everyone money. Play for fun don't spend too much only spend what you can afford to lose every week.
Awful Advert
I quite like these competitions but I will never enter a draw from these on account of the awful radio advert that seems to play every 15mins on every station available. I have never heard such bilge. Do better
1000s wasted tickets massively…
1000s wasted tickets massively discounted near end of draws if not sold also dont think discounted tickets are really entered no way of knowing if fixed not regulated by anyone independent. Instant tickets completely useless amount of tickets is lottery style 1000s spent to win 100 an 50s a then £1 credits. Give to charity there claim to fame most likely tax deductible anyway waste of time now if u play this site play for pennies I just banned myself from it woeful odds clean ur bank account out while giving prize to 1 ticket buyer at 2 million to one lol how anyone can give this more than 2⭐️ is crazy lol but gd luck to yous who play may God help you buy 1 ticket only no more as u have the same chance as someone who buys them all don’t why but it’s true

What a stupid game they put on there…
What a stupid game they put on there Facebook page where you have to comment and the one with no liked comment, its too stressful for people and they are probably laughing there balls off about it, very unprofessional !!! they don’t reply to emails or PMs they wouldn’t even help out someone who actually needs the money for vulnerable children and adults, who are in life or death situations, hope for Harley , was completely ignored when someone asked them to kindly donate, this boy is slowly dying and he needs funds for a life saving treatment!! it’s all a money making scheme , play it fair!! so I’ve blocked there page and opted out of the automatic text messages, very poor customer service with zero communication..
' Soft' gambling needs regulated
' Soft' gambling needs regulated. The amount of money being wasted on these poor odds games is destroying relationships and families. These competitions are addictive and the website uses alot of sly psychology imagery and layout techniques to brainwash and shut down criticl thinking. Near miss psychology and the ' look someone near me won, so i can too' is manipulative. Independent choice to play is not the issue when the amount of psychology used is overwhelming and pervasive for vulnerable users and any user trapped in the spiral of gambling wasting money on competitions. This loophole where anyone with a bank card can buy as much as they want needs closed.

My recent experience participating in…
My recent experience participating in your prize competitions. Over the past few weeks, I have spent approximately £70 entering your various prize draws, yet I have not won a single prize, nor have I experienced any sense of transparency or reassurance that the process is being run fairly. My main concern lies not simply in the fact that I did not win, but rather in the lack of visibility and accountability surrounding how competitions are conducted. From what I can observe, all results and updates appear to be posted solely on Facebook, with no independent verification process, live draws archive, or clear proof that entries are handled fairly and within gambling or prize competition standards. This gives the impression of a closed system, where participants have little or no way to verify authenticity or fair play in the prize selection process. Given that significant sums of money are being spent by participants, myself included, it is reasonable to expect a transparent and balanced system that allows entrants to see how winners are chosen and to ensure that all entries are treated equally. At present, your operations raise several troubling questions:
How are entry numbers generated, logged, and verified?
Are draw results audited or independently monitored in any way?
Why is there no published winners list with verifiable information (beyond social media posts)?
What measures are in place to guarantee the fairness and randomisation of the draws?
Without satisfactory answers to these questions, it is difficult to maintain trust in Thatprize guy competitions. The current system, relying only on Facebook updates, could easily conceal errors or worse, manipulation without any way for participants to confirm the integrity of the results. As a paying customer who has spent more than a modest amount, I would appreciate a comprehensive responce how your prize draw mechanism works, but i did not get any including details about your auditing or compliance procedures and whether your operations follow any form of regulatory oversight or fair competition standard. I strongly urge others to tjink twice before flushing money down the toilet with this operator which has failed to provide transparency and communications
I’ve been playing That Prize Guy daily…
I’ve been playing That Prize Guy daily for about a year, consistently using their free daily Auto Draw and buying the cheapest tickets. For example, I recently entered the £20,000 prize draw, purchasing 50 tickets at 2p each (totaling 80p), but unfortunately, I didn’t win again.
While it’s possible to win big with just one ticket, the odds make it feel like you're not getting much for your money. Despite playing regularly and using my balance efficiently, I haven’t had any notable wins, which has led me to question whether continuing to play is worth it.
One thing I find disappointing is the lack of visibility into the winners. It would be nice to hear more about who has won and what the prizes were. There's no clear update or winner statements, which feels a bit opaque for a platform that should be building trust with its users.
I still have a few tickets left for various games and a small credit balance of 24p, so I’ll play those out. But after that, I don’t plan on purchasing more tickets. At this point, I think I’ll explore other prize opportunities.
Website and draw selection are quite…
Website and draw selection are quite poor. Winners staged and all a scam! It’s anything for traction these days. The pull for example is you get 1p for a ticket; when in actual fact, people spend loads more compared to legacy lottery sites to increase the ‘chances they never had’.
Odds not really in your favour at all
Odds not really in your favour at all. Bought over 17000 tickets and won £8 website credit.
I appreciate it’s a game of luck but 17,000 tickets just to win £8?! Shame
Heard a lot of good things about the company but may give it a miss after that
Really frustrating experience
Really frustrating experience. Ticket prices are heavily reduced near the end of the competition, which leaves early buyers feeling ripped off after paying full price. On top of that, the chances of winning are extremely slim due to the very large number of tickets available for each draw.
Subsequently gone elsewhere to play.
A bit unsure but… WOW
as many are I was a bit unsure if this was real or if ‘certain’ people got picked to win but after winning X2 £50 instants within 24hrs I can definitely say it is real and it’s all down to chances and luck.
