Extremely disappointing experience – promises not honoured, zero customer support
I purchased a photography course from Jacob several years ago after it was advertised with lifetime access and additional bonus modules. From the outset, access to the full content was inconsistent. Over time, entire modules that were originally included were removed, platforms were taken down without notice, and the course was repeatedly altered with no communication.
Whenever I tried to resolve this, I was met with long periods of complete silence. Emails were ignored for months at a time. The only occasion I received a response was when I explicitly mentioned taking formal action, after which access was temporarily restored, only for the same issues to reappear later. This pattern has repeated itself over the years.
Despite multiple polite and reasonable attempts to get clarification or support, I have now been entirely ignored again. I still do not have access to the full course content that was sold to me, and there has been no accountability or customer service whatsoever.
As a result, I am now having to consider pursuing the matter through small claims court, which is both frustrating and disappointing. I genuinely wish I had purchased from a different creator all those years ago. Over time, Jacob has eroded every last bit of trust I had in him, despite the fact that I followed and supported his work from the early days.
From my own experience and from what I observed while I was part of his Facebook group, I was not alone in these issues. It was common to see other customers reporting missing content, access problems, and a complete lack of response when they tried to get help. Seeing the same complaints repeatedly, with no visible resolution, was extremely concerning.
It is particularly disappointing to see early supporters treated this way. Those who backed his work from the start appear to be forgotten once newer projects take priority, leaving long-standing customers without the access or support they were promised.
My warning to potential customers:
Based on my experience, do not rely on promises from Jacob or ongoing support. If anything changes or goes missing after purchase, be prepared to chase endlessly and, even then, you may simply be ignored. Once payment has been taken, resolving issues appears to be extremely difficult.
I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing to think carefully before committing.
